of course there are rescues for pretty much all breeds, or you can use petfinder to peruse local shelter dogs . . . but personally i think rescue is best because they try to match you with dogs that fit your personality and lifestyle. i could not be happier with any dog than i am with my rescue. 😍

got accepted into IU med yesterday!!!!! so happy about it!!! 😀

....but i'm hoping the basketball program gets better by the time March rolls around. how long do you think it will take tom creane to regret trying to clean up the mess at IU??

It's not about genetics in the sense that you're probably thinking (there's no rock ballad about pedigrees and such) but it involves a company selling "designer" organs/body parts. 😀 I'd like to think of it as a musical that involves the selectivity aspect of Gattaca (if you've seen that).

Also, the slimy underbelly of the company is that if you don't keep making payments on your designer organs, they will repossess your organs... which, as you might imagine, is not a good thing.

I guess it depends on the atmosphere. There were tons of young girls in our showing which was pretty late at night and they were all freaking out.

Agreed. Especially depending on how long Tony Pike is out. The polls look pretty decent this week, actually. I think Texas will trip up somewhere along the line, though. They're overrated.

How are they overrated? I mean, which other team from say 4-10 do you think is legitimately better? USC just had their own close win, and then you start getting into the land of non-BCS pretenders and other shaky teams. I don't think UT is a great team by any means, but right now I'd buy that they are the 3rd best team in the country.

Didn't we just have this conversation yesterday? 😛

Yeah, I think we did. I just wanted to reiterate that because I think UT is the most overrated of the overrated top teams. I would like to see them win, though. Anything that keeps USC out.

On a positive note about USC, their QB impressed me yesterday. But then again, it was against Notre Dame's defense. :laugh:

Oh and I 😍 Matt Barkley. Not only is he a good QB but he's pretty smart and does a lot of volunteer work.

I was actually wondering when you were going to come in and tell me off. I figured I spouted enough USC hate in the last day to bring you out of hiding.

The thing that bothers me is that the media just writes off the fact that they have 1 loss to a not-so-great team. They just don't even care that they already have an inexplicable loss. That's the source of my hatred this season.

Understandable. And I actually agree with you. It's not fair that we always get acknowledged as being one of the best teams based on past year's performances [regardless of the fact that we always manage to have one embarrassing loss every season]. And the whole using "because they're USC" as answers to questions such as why we were 4 in the preseason despite losing most of our front seven on defense is pretty lame. But I'm not gonna complain :laugh:
 
I love USC and Bama... this weekend was a good football one.. besides UCF getting owned
 
omg, are you guys watching the KC vs Washignton game? 15 first downs for KC and 7 first downs for Washington. 9-6.

Fans should be spared these kinds of horribleness.
 
Even though that touchdown was called back, that was amazing. Jacobs just grabbed it from the Saints' D hands. Crazy.

I think there have been about 4 touchdowns called back today.

But... Saints, anyone? 😛
 
I kind of like the Redskins. Their fans have it rough.
 
I'm tired of people attacking me on here. What's wrong with me wanting to hear decisions from schools? 🙁 Everyone else wants to hear from their schools too.
