Ahh, well, there are still some pretty good schools on your list. Who knows?

As for UVA, they do have a somewhat lower acceptance percentage for OOSers, I think.

im sure your interview skills are fine, it seems like any little thing can make a difference as to whether you get accepted or rejected post-intrview. i know it hurts now, but i bet next year we'll all look back and realize we're at the right school for us.


i hope blue's doing ok, he got rejected from g'town and hasnt been in this thread since🙁

damn sorry metallica, not a lot of good news lately for us 🙁. I think blue is fine, rejection sucks...especially when you have no acceptance in hand.

I can see why people don't like her, but I really like her songs. That one? I dunno... it may have to grow on me...

A lot of my friends like her a lot... I like her because she is ridiculously good at piano and I play piano so I've learned some of her stuff.

I love playing this song.

The beginning is my favorite to bang out when I am stressed.

This video is what made me like her and made me learn all of her acoustic works.
 
have u seen that guy on youtube that does all that crazy stuff on the piano, im sure you have. that dorky looking guy - he's pretty cool
 
stupid question but...to update your mailing address with schools can u just change it on amcas? Or do u actually have to go and call each school....because that would be painful

i changed my address. i emailed the schools i interviewed at. i got an email saying that your AMCAS information is downloaded weekly, so if you change that you are fine.

i would still update amcas then email each school (writing it out is better i think)
 
i had a huge crush on GaGa no lie. because she's so eccentric and talented in weird ways. but then she had all that stuff about being a guy and whatnot. hmm i dont know. i still like her
 
my undergrad wont stop asking me for money and i feel bad cuz they use undergrads to make those phone calls and i remember how we used to complain about finaid as students and stuff

but i have like no money to give out 🙁

Sorry to hear that dude. But, you do have an acceptance. Even if you don't get in anywhere else, your cycle was a success. 👍
 
So my student interviewer at Stanford said my PS was "genuine and balls-y". And then that somehow lead to us singing "No, no, no, NOTORIOUS" in sync. Freaking great students. 👍

congrats to all the acceptances today. They just keep comin!

figures that this was all because of girardi's overmanaging. just looking at the box score makes me dizzy-- how many freaking pitchers are you going to go through in one night? jesus effing christ, this is why joe torre was a better manager than you, girardi 😡

Sorry metallica; but you DO have an acceptance and you're live at several other great schools. Often, there's nothing "wrong" with you, just a lot of qualified applicants. It's hard as an OOSer at a state school 🙁
