Just watch all the businessmen - none of them check their overnighter bags, and many of them are larger than the carryon limit...

I did this for all my flights... its the airlines own fault for charging to check luggage

getting ready to move out of my apt into a new one! Not really exciting but w/e lol. And being on sdn further putting off the studying i need to do for my virology midterm. I havtn even looked at any notes since class started 4 weeks ago....im going to fail 😛

I failed my cell bio lab report. :laugh:

Lucky that I can redo it to regain half credit.

my car when i park and let go of the breaks makes squeaky noises...like when a bed is moving back and forth....im too poor to fix it so i pretend its not there😛. you should try that!

That's about what I'm gonna do:laugh:. It's too old and has too many miles for me to do anything major to it. I'm going to drive it until it blows up and then replace it.
 
So I was on my way to class and saw a huge, white hawk swoop down onto a tree. I was like "cool, I'll just check it out for a little while." It was looking for a squirrel, swooped down and almost took my eyes out twice.

Eventually, it caught the squirrel spiderman-ing on a building and took it over to another tree and ate it. It was awesome. I was 15 minutes late to my class because of it. Whatever. There was a huge crowd, too. I just spent 20-25 mins standing there watching a hawk. :laugh:

yah i can but i think a better question is will i? Probably not haha. Seriously though it doesnt matter if for my last 3 classes i get 2 Cs or something right? I have 3 classes to take to graduate...one is p/f...the other 2 as long as i pass im good? Seems crazy that a school would like rescind an acceptance or something over 2 Cs at the end. The curve is setup so like 80% of the class gets a C or better so trying is so hard, knowing how easy it is to get a C:laugh:

no it seems like youre right. its all the damn im-stuck-in-the-15th-century-so-ill-snail-mail-the-decision-to-you schools that are causing the delays.

i think ill hear from drexel tomorrow though :xf:

So I went to the doctor this morning and got a shot. Now I can't walk or sit down like a normal human being.

Also, just got an email from LSU:

Severe Weather Could Impact Baton Rouge Today


According to the National Weather Service, severe weather is likely to impact the Baton Rouge area this afternoon. Heavy rainfall of 2-3 inches is expected, along with thunderstorms containing super cells, which could result in tornado activity. East Baton Rouge Parish is under a tornado watch until 7 p.m. this evening, and the worst of the weather is expected to hit the capital city during peak afternoon traffic times, between 4 and 6 p.m. Flash flooding may occur in low-lying areas, such as Acadian Thruway, the Governor's Mansion area, and Burbank Drive. Students, faculty and staff who must be out during these storms are urged to use extreme caution, especially while driving. The LSU EOC is carefully monitoring weather conditions, and any updates will be posted to the LSU homepage, www.lsu.edu.

Practice is from 4-5:30. This combined with my limbing (and the fact that I have to run a lot and roll on the ground in the halftime show) should make for an interesting afternoon. 🙄

Woohooo, done with Downstate! Pretty nice school, they still have interviews in that room where you can hear what's going on inside, lol.
 
I don't know which Bio class to schedule next semester. I'm talking to a professor about Neurobio next semester to see if I can get in without the prereqs.

I think my options are that, Microbial Physiology 👎, Endocrin (which would take away my Friday off), and Human Disease (taught by the professor that made me leave her lab last year).

Tough call.
 
Research is awful. Sometimes I just want to up and get the heck out of this lab for the day.... so frustrating right now!
 
Haha thanks, it's FIU but they have this weird thing with "alternate list" for acceptees. I called and they said I'm in for sure, but the term is surely confusing me. W/e.

But yeah, huge weight off my shoulder.

i read that letter...its the most confusing acceptance letter of all time ahha...but at least ure in thats cool 🙂. now just me and jackson need to get some acceptances lol

where do u guys book most of your flights? Just like orbits, priceline, jetblue etc? im having trouble trying to find a flight out of NY at the time i need 🙁
