no way, we're just that awesome. i didn't see the arkansas flag, i was in the stands, and had no clue what happened. what's the other "loss"? I don't think we've had another 1 score game yet. besides, weren't we driving with little time left when we got that arkansas flag? we could've still scored and arky woulda had to score on us too.

My bad. The other game I was thinking of was LSU-Georgia; not sure why I remembered Florida being in that game.

I can't find a story that says exactly when the call happened, but I think it was a little earlier than that and basically revived a drive that was starting to stall. Could be wrong, though.
 
umm i don't remember too early either. i got pretty smashed before the game and it was cold and i was getting hungover and added to the cold wind i was having a headache, yea.

That sounds like fun.... no game in Athens today, so it's nice and quiet. I'll be going to the corn maze and haunted house tonight with some friends! But until then, I'm just being lazy and unproductive.

i agree...although I haven't liked it in a long time w/ the thousands of stupid applications and unnecessary features.

it's starting to get extremely stalker-ish...telling me I should "reconnect" with certain ppl that I have likely had no contact w/ since I've been registered lol

i've been feeling like i'm basically done with NYC for 7-8ish months now. so maybe it doesn't matter so much if i get in here, since i think i'd rather go back to MA at this point.
 
just came home after 12 hours of traveling to an hold from downstate and a waitlist at Vandy

those were my best interviews too. damn it

yeah downstate sucks

i'm actually thinking about withdrawing... tuition at umass is way better, and i liked the schools basically equally. but i'm gonna sit on that decision for a week or two.

umass is nice, but you could easily just wait it out and see what happens in the end. i have a feeling they wont send us anything at all til like the "spring"

and nowadays spring in NYC is like May 6 - May 9
 
sorry bout that brooklyn. how did you like MN, though? i love the city/state but have heard mixed reviews esp about the grad school areas

haha i dont know how to describe it but minneapolis/stpaul is a really really cute place

i know im comparing to the east coast but everything is so brand new and big. i was really impressed. faculty was really amazing

well, umass is a more highly ranked school than downstate (don't tell me that's meaningless bc i won't believe you) and it's closer to my parents and it's not in NYC. so... it's winning so far.

If that makes you happy it's not meaningless. If other things make you happy it is meaningless.

Not a big loss, I agree with you, Downstate sucks. I just interviewed there and man are the facilities dilapidated. Nothing was good about it.

Well, their loss. I think both schools probably wondered if you would really go there, since you're likely to receive offers from top schools closer to your area.

Where do people look at rankings? I've only seen top 10s or 20s for various things (research, clinical, etc...)
