Yea, then we can have a database like that school selection spreadsheet on the chances forum. Say elmo wants to find a mate, then on the spreadsheet it'll be like "ddub -- go for it!"

i've just finished with the first 3 songs, but it sounds like they added a bit of a hip hop beat to their songs. I didn't like the last one as much as absolution, it sounded a bit too pop rockish.
 
Agreed! But absolution was pretty hard to follow up on anyways. That albums rocks hard.

Speaking of getting into more music, I actually took some suggestions from rockaction and picked up some Mogwai and it is very solid stuff.

I hate my classes tomorrow.

Unfortunately, looks to be the same schedule next semester time-wise. Boo.

I haven't heard good news from a school since 9/19. Since then, I'm on a cold streak. Need to get back in the groove.

i started looking at condo prices/apartment rent near the school i got accepted to so i can have a distraction. it keeps me busy with figuring out whether to buy/rent. either way, i could apply whatever i learn from this detour research to any other good news in the future

I can sort of answer this question now: OSU is probably the school I've interviewed at that I liked the best. I'm not saying it's my number one choice (factoring in cost and location), but if I were to pick a school based on "fit" alone, I think that's my top choice.

So I woke up with this pretty awful pain near my belly button. Maybe if everyone hopes REALLY hard that it's not appendicitis, it won't be!

the thing about the appearance scale is that its really subjective and every guy has their own scale. i like to bell curve mine

ya i don't feel too bad about myself yet:

-wake seems to be waitlisting a ton of people this year, i mean they waitlisted ksmi so they must be crazy😛

-vermont waitlists 100% of people then slowly accepts off of it to fill their class

-you said temple accepts a lot of people off the waitlist to fill their class

-georgetown waitlists most people straight off, then waits to see how interested they are before accepting them


i mean, i don't think i'm like uncomfortably awkward or anything, so hopefully i don't suck at interviewing haha. i've gotten every job i've ever interviewed for, so maybe i'm just bad at med school interviews? lol who knows. i'm definitely not panicking yet, it's just annoying to have to wait awhile longer to know.
 
yea i think each school has its own thing. i thought the schools i interviewed really well at i got placed on hold and the place that the interviewed seemed all over the place (but wouldn't say it was bad at all) i got accepted so egh?!?

i hope it doesnt affect confidence or whatever in upcoming interviews

I wouldn't read too much into it. I think your reasoning above is sound and you'll serve yourself no good by psyching yourself out thinking that there is something wrong with your interviewing skills! You can do it. Maintain a proactive approach and continue to show interest at the appropriate times in these schools and they won't be able to resist! They don't know what they're missing right now and you're going to show them how much they are!
 
For sure, don't let these waitlists affect your future interviews. I think it's a matter of time before you get pulled off. At my MSSM interview, one of my student hosts said he was on multiple waitlists up until like March, and then schools started taking him. He said he got into several, and it's just a matter of time. So don't get discouraged, jackson.
 
I'd send update letters to waitlist schools so they know you're still interested (if you are)
