I've posted a few times tipsy. The most recent time I was smashed, I woke up the next day to find SDN open on my computer, but the forums were apparently down for work the previous night. I still wonder what I was gonna post about.

Do you really think you would attend VCU over LSU NO, especially given the cost differential?

You have a few other schools on your complete list that might be worth the interview cost, but I don't think VCU is in this category...

Yeah, the cost differential is huge. But I still want to check out VCU since UVA rejected me. I like Virginia.

I love it. Although I made the mistake last year of trying real coconut. Like, straight from the tree in our backyard.

I'm pretty sure a brick would have tasted better.

VCU is not in the same league as UVA - you will be very disappointed in the comparison between these 2 schools. Not even close...especially when you compare the locations...Charlottesville >>>>> Richmond...

VCU and EVMS are really popular for the OOSers who either don't have an instate public, or they live in a really tough state for IS admissions (California)...

But for people like you who have a very good instate option in hand, VCU (and EVMS) should really drop off your radar. Save your money for one of those other schools on your complete list, like NYU or Pitt...

do you think it could work in reverse, too? like...woman comes in with "cat allergies," undergoes hypnosis, leaves all allergy-free so house can have cat?

Well thanks for the advice. I still have plenty o time, so I'll weigh my options. Who knows what could happen in the next 2 or so weeks?

to be completely honest, i did that! i was really allergic to cats (i.e. hives and runny nose when i stepped into a room that had a cat.)

then i got a kitten and it slept with me. i was cured in 2 weeks 🙂 granted it was two weeks of hell...but now im not allergic!!!

I'm at work 🙁 I go to a school that has a co-op program so I'm working full time until the end of December.

Though I'm leaving soon to have a doctor make sure my appendix really isn't going to blow up.
