The best holiday is Christmas, hands down.

No way. Granted, it is a good and fun holiday, but what's not to love about Halloween? Lots of candy, costumes, spooky stuff, etc... Halloween is definitely the best.

But the Christmas season is my favorite because everything is just so magical and joyful.

I wake up at 6:30 on week days to squeeze a work out in before I head off to class/work/shadowing...I bet that is what is doing it!

Btws...what do you guys think of me going as a patient in surgery...I will wear my scrub pants and folded over top and wrap a blue towel around my torso so that there is a small opening left and draw an incision site there....

My family has had chinese food many-a-time for Christmas dinner.

This year we're having pancakes

My family isn't religious, so we don't have any incentive to do anything traditional for x-mas. The last few years I think some people in my family have been intentionally trying to see how ridiculous we can make x-mas activities.

Yeah, honestly it already was. I loved Hopkins, but I just don't think they would have prepared me as well as Mayo for this portion of medical training. I only say this because of my learning style and the personalized attention one can get in a class of 42 compared to 120.

But both were amazing.

Yeah, agreed. Just when comparing the two, 42 is almost too small, but I work well in that type of atmosphere (see music conservatory...). I like the idea of knowing EVERYONE's name before I leave. 👍
