Freshman signed in a friend... I get a page because someone overhears them talking about the friend throwing up blood...They all freak out when I get there and act like they have something to hide...Tell me the friend has been throwing up for 6 hours and started throwing up blood 20 minutes prior, so I call the school police (also EMT's)... The friend lies when they get there saying he only threw up once a half an hour before and it only had a little blood and refuses medical treatment...

All because I'm pretty sure they were drinking and/or did some kind of drug.

Idiots. Idiots.

I really hope he's ok.

That's really annoying. And probably the number 1 thing that bothered me when I was an RA -- when freshmen were so scared of being busted for doing something that they were willing to lie and put another person's safety at risk. It's ridiculous.

Hopefully that kid'll be alright

really what happened?

We live in different cities. Slowly we stopped talking. Slowly I stopped wanting to talk. Sadly it was mostly one sided and he still really wanted to make it work. It was hard. We lived together so that was awkward too.

ahh...the slow fade of love, sorry to hear that 🙁

haha you didn't scare me at all!! it was awesome meeting you🙂 how'd your interview go? i liked the school a lot and could definitely see myself there (although as we discussed, we both like everywhere we go lol😛)

That's good! lol, I think my interview went ok. My interviewer was pretty late! I was afraid they'd forgotten about me. XD

I really like it here. Plus, I have family friends who live in the area! (I just got back from hanging with them) 🙂

Sorry about that. 🙁

I feel like this always happens to me. This is my third 2 1/2+ year relationship where I got bored. I don't know what is wrong with me.

I don't know, I think it happens to everyone more or less. I don't know how to help, but here's a song on the topic:

For the slow fade of love
It might hit you from below
It's your gradual descent
Into a life you never meant
It's the slow fade of love

Too bad. I'm going out now to get drunk.😀

Night peeps.

I know this is probably not the best time to ask this but w/e....
what if an interviewer...instead of going into asking questions about you....instead asks your opinion of whether their school should go ahead with a proposed course requirement change.
There were other parts to the interview but it was mostly about why the school was a perfect fit for me rather than the other way around lol

what do you guys think this could mean in terms of how the school may see me as an applicant?
its a weird/loaded question but i just want your honest opinion if this was anyone else

what do you guys think?

What's the question? Do you want us to analyze the situation or tell you what you should've done?

Anyhow, I'll just go ahead and do both. It's generally a good thing when the school's trying sell itself to you rather than looking for the other way around, unless it's Pittsburgh. Actually, it seems like most schools that have a low accepted/interviewed ratio try to sell the school more than try to have you sell yourself.

As for your answer, I would just think about the curricula and give the pros and cons of each. I think as long as you demonstrate your critical thinking abilities it'll be fine. I wouldn't pounce on one of the curriculum over the other, though, just to be safe.

well he actually agreed with me on my opinion...and I didn't really think too much of the way the interview seemed to be reversed. But not I am worried that I was just like a "throwaway" applicant or something and they already knew they didn't like me or something.

I dunno why I am thinking about this now...jw i guess

I love it when I'm supposed to meet the other RA to do rounds, call her when she's late, only to find out she's sleeping.

Pretty ridiculous

😱

That is like suspension-worthy.

In short, Wicked is the story of the Wizard of Oz from the perspective of the Wicked Witch of the West (named Elphaba in the book/musical). The basic major theme (particularly in the book) is that evil is a matter of perspective.

Sounds interesting, actually.

You should have made a 3 cheese one. Maybe cheddar, swiss, pepper jack/havarti, and sprinkle parmesan on the bread. Hardcore.

That sounds ridiculously good.

Just broke up with the fiance... feel very wierd

Dang, sorry to hear that.

Got to sleep a little after 3:30....

Then got paged at 4:30...

Then got paged at 5:30....

Stupid, stupid, STUPID freshman. The rest of my buildings are fine. Those stupid, stupid freshman are keeping me from getting any sleep though.

My mom woke me up at 6:30 am on a Saturday. For no reason. Ugh.
