good to know about the signature thing... I had no idea.
i mean, i think the poster has a legit point. i just dont think he went about it as "balanced" as he was hoping for (read "2 positives and a bagillion negatives)
the regulars have already assembled to hold down the fort. haha
so, i decided to take time out of my "valuable" lab hours to read the whole thing anyway
He does make some good points, I'm not to keen on his points re: research, but I did have similar concerns regarding CCLCM's clinical stuff(and Mayo's as well for that matter).
i think that's how mock grants work =)i mean, i can see how writing up "mock" grants can consume alot of time, and how this can be seen as time wasted if these mock grants arent actually being used for receiving actual funding.

Wake is BIG on the interest thing, you really have to demonstrate it. The girl I talked about, for example, got in right after the interview as an OOS. The reason was because she was asked many difficult questions during the interview(like how would you treat this type of tumor, and the answer was very specific). So she went back home, read up some research articles, and basically wrote a literature review to send back to her interviewer, and she got in like the next day.
****s goin down in the case specific forum...should be a fun flame-war
I have this really annoying intense cough that kept me up until 3 this morning and just prevented me from thoroughly enjoying my nap. 😡
I'm not even sick, either, it's just a huge cough.

So when would be a good time (if ever) to send an update letter/letter of interest? When is it appropriate to send either?
will do. ill report those really obnoxious ones from now on.
btw, shout out to KSMI for laying down the law and closing down another thread. props
thats incredible! i wish all the schools i didnt want to go to would withdraw me and save me the trouble!!
5 of my ex-boyfriends are now gay or bi-sexual. Not kidding.
While I realize I carry a bit of negativity for Wake, I can't believe the level to which Wake wants their students to opine for them.
It seems kind of weird to me, but whatever.

I know a girl that every one of her exs is gay. She's scared to date now.
I should stop studying on my couch. I fall asleep a good 50% of the time.
Hey Ksmi.....I have a question about your Tulane interview day-
do they have events scheduled to run (no matter what) to 2:30 or is that when the last individual interview may possibly end?
I am trying to figure out how early I can possibly get out of the city after the interview 🙂
thankssssss!
lol he said that I don't have to take it at all but then my grade will depend on the one midterm and the final...kind of scaryWhat did you hear from your prof?

Is it normal to only have heard SOMETHING (rej/hold/int) from only 9 of the 24 schools I applied to at this point in time? (Comp. Late August)
I'm getting antsy since interview spots are filling well into the new year now.
I'm still waiting on 11/20 and was complete around mid August.
It's starting to worry me too. I just keep thinking they're all silent rejections.
Gilbert Arenas had 12 turnovers today. The record for a single game is 14. Guess I'm not winning that category this week.😡
hahahaha ecircuit... luckily I have the honor of playing you this week 😀
Wow
Yeah, I've pretty much accepted there's no way I'm ever winning that category with all my point guards.
Sammich, what's with all those random Celtics on your team? They have not been very helpful so far 😛
Celtics are the only team I know anything about. Boston pride!
But that means I only have like 2 people playing until about Friday.
Ef.
How can I keep from losing at fantasy basketball (which is what is currently happening)? I'm not sure I quite understand the strategy here. 🙁

Holy cow 😱 I mean, it seems like I've heard a LOT of stories like that.

You need to set your roster for every night. You need to put the people who are playing on each night onto the active roster.
Oh, no wonder you're losing. I guess you're going to have some very good weeks and some very bad weeks depending on how often the Celtics are playing.
I guess it was a good week to make a bet 😛
You've got to make sure you've got players that help you in all of the categories; if you have a lot of players that only really score, there are a bunch of other categories that you're not giving yourself a chance on. Balance is key.

Wait.... What?? Was I supposed to be doing this? And how do I do this?
I don't even understand how the scoring works.
How much are you beating me by? I'm too afraid to go look. I'm pretty sure you're going to make my avatar your little wench for a week.
