And they made it a pre-req for biochem. Which is ridiculous, because, surprise!, I never needed MO theory or symmetry or any of that crap for biochem. But our inorganic prof was a big-shot, so he whined until they made it a pre-req so he could have a big class rather than like a 10 person upper division class 😡

but MO theory and symmetry would have otherwise been in your gen chem, had it been two semesters though...wouldn't it?

Sam's only takes Discover. Unless you're at the gas pumps. I think I use Visa to get gas.
 
i think the level of in-depthness was different for MO/symmetry for an advanced inorganic class and gen chem

the first exam grade for advanced inorganic ("grad level") was a 19. the average was like a 17

That's what it was. Sam's only takes Discover and Costco only takes AMEX. Thanks Bry-dawg.

Oh man, totally. I remember when my intro microeconomics course didn't count so then I needed to supplement with latin american economies and public sector economics.... wowweeeee 😛

This. We got like a touch of it in gen chem, but it was a beast in inorganic. In gen chem, we got MO basically only saying, "And here's this other thing that's super complicated, but don't worry too much about it."

damn Univeristy of Michigan undergrad charges around 37k a year for tuition to non-residents now. i wonder if establishing residency is easy in undergrad

Just do the rice thing. Don't mess around with it for a few days.

My friend WASHED her phone (not iPhone) in the washing machine and let it dry out and she was able to use it for quite a few months after that....granted...she did have a couple problems with the phone.

Ha, this is why I always drink at home or at a friend's place. Last time I went out, I drank so much that I couldn't tell the different denominations on bills, so I tipped $38 on a $3 drink because I paid with a 1 and two 20s instead of three 1s.
