Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
ew so bizarre. they need to take note of how us hokies do it-jeans and a t-shirt is way better football attire than dresses and heels!🙂

suits for boys, dresses for girls. yuck.

actually, probably more like a nice shirt and khaki's for boys but still👎

hokie hi👍

That's pretty early, and pretty awesome, not hte PRDr thing tho 😀

what time was your slu interview? i remember mine was at 7:30 in the morning....

it happens in a lot of southern schools, basically the girls wear dresses and the guys wear collared shirts and khakis. Ole Miss, Georgia, Bama, they all do it more or less. They'll let you in and everything, but that's just the way everybody dresses.

Haha I didn't have to be there until 11. I sat in on the first lecture of the day and still had time to get myself a bagel. Yum!

I had an afternoon interview-at 1:30...with very very very detailed instructions on how to get to my interview location.

So NBC showed Devin Hester's bare butt on national tv during the game when they showed a replay and failed to realize his pants were pulled down completely past his entire crack. It almost made the Bears loss enjoyable for me, no homo.

lol, I didn't catch that.

Ahh...I remember those papers they hand out for directions, extremely thorough, but much needed because of the complicated tunnels there.... Anyhow, congrats again on receiving money from one of your top choices 🙂 How much does Tulane cost without the money?

Hey congrats! Are you still gonna try to interview at EVMS?

Yea, I'm going on December 7th since I already have my flight booked. If I had been accepted a few days sooner I probably would have canceled the EVMS interview, but I might as well go now and check it out.

oh, they rescheduled you pretty quickly, good luck then!

I actually couldn't make any of their interview days so she had to specifically find someone to meet with me on that day. So I'm not getting the tour or anything else. It'll just be the interview. Still though, I think I might like the school so I wanna check it out.

For those of you who missed it on national television...

[ridiculous Devin Hester pic here]

Yeah... butt pics really aren't appropriate. Please don't make me do something about it.
And... done. Sorry about that, apparently SDN User Policy is tighter than the FCC on nationally televised football games  In all serious, sorry about that.

Yeah, but it means I can't get to sleep now, and when I wake up tomorrow it will be killer.

Dude, it's 1 hour! I had no problem with the time difference when I went to China  Right now, you should be perennially sleep deprived that you can fall asleep at any moment and always wake up still tired.

Yea, heard it's a good school, I think a couple in our fb group interviewed there, maybe luun and jackson?

dang, i didn't see it, link it? i mean, im' curious
Just search "Hester's butt" and click on the "Bear Goggles Blog", happened tonight on SNF lol

On second thought just check my facebook status lol

It's been that way with EASports games for ages.

Madden's AI is ridiculously hard

FIFA is always too easy

I haven't played their basketball games in a while, so can't comment

What up avo. You should drop by more often.

NBA Live games are pretty terrible, at least the last one I played. Never play FIFA.

Well, I just joined a few days ago, you see 😛

I'm not usually a big forums person, but we'll see, there are quite a few interesting threads here. Certainly beats the typical computer/gaming/blah forums which don't particularly have stimulating conversation.

Yeah, SDN is full of good information, especially for people applying. What's your story? Applying this cycle?

I am applying this cycle, yes.

Sent in the application a bit late, but I have interviews lined up with a few of my top choice schools anyway so *shrug*

Applied to quite a few MSTP programs, so we'll see how that goes.

Other than that, the usual stuff. I'm a biochem/chem/french triple major at a public university. Watch a lot of sports, play chess, play some video games here and there. And I like Jeopardy...a lot...so I know far too much useless knowledge.

Sweet man. Good luck at your interviews. 👍

Thanks much. Taking the week of Nov. 30th off so I can attend three interviews in a row and then return in time to catch up for finals. Luckily the professors are fine with it, but I'll still need to figure out three lectures each of French (erotic) literature, physical chemistry, and neuroscience...yay?

I'm also taking a neurosci class. I've probably misssed 50% of the lectures.

lol, yeah, the lecture hall it's held in is dark and warm - not a good combination for my state of awareness. The only problem is, I'll have that week to catch up, and then...FINALS!

YAY! First acceptance!!!!!! :soexcited:😀😀😀
