yea thats exactly how i operated too. i wake up a lot more earlier when i get drunk though
 
yeah it's unreal... damn you know? i think i'm well on my way to croaking before i'm 50. for example, i have to wake up at 6:15ish and be at work at 7. why do i do this?

Hi guys. I haven't posted on here in a long while, just thought I'd see what's up. 🙂

So quick vent about applying with a SO who is applying to grad school... her first applications are just now getting submitted, so I basically get to go through a stressful second cycle of waiting for her to hear about interviews and acceptances before I know where I can go. 🙁 It should be worth it in the end though... :xf:

Anybody else applying with a buddy this cycle? 😍

That sounds way too complicated. Good luck though, I hope everything works out for you.
 
At least you've got quite a few acceptances so far, so figuring things out in the end hopefully won't be as tough.

I guess one positive side is that it will most likely narrow down my options considerably. Hopefully not too much though, there were a few schools that I really really liked and would be very disappointed to have an acceptance and not be able to attend.

Me too. I've never ever ever seen an episode of the Simpsons in my life, much less like even 5 continuous minutes of it.
 
Soooo... I withdrew from a school by e-mail. They've never responded, but they've changed my status which allows me to select a new interview date...?? o.o
 
I am having such a hard time focusing on my to-do list!! I realize it's the holidays and all, but still... Any encouraging or motivational piece of advice?
 
So, I still haven't gone to sleep yet.

But I managed to get all 195 countries a couple of hours ago. I am now a country-naming master. I can name all countries in all the continents extremely quickly and accurately, but it's a lot harder when they're all together for the world.

but i want to name all the countries now! i usually get 193/195. the ones i forget differ every time... it's hard to see on that squished little map.

It really is! I've done them all a couple of times and forgotten obvious ones like Italy, North and South Korea, Philippines, China...

Yet I'll get all the damn Oceania islands.

I was not derailing it! I was stating my opinion and answering the question. You couldn't accept that.
 
Also, I'm killing JJ in fantasy. 8-1! What what.

One of my players had like the perfect game yesterday. 18 points, 100% FT, 100% FG, 3 3PTMs, some rebounds, assists, and steals, and only 1 TO. He must have done that well since he's on my awesome team.
