Ha my understanding is that my hall was pretty ridiculous freshman year as well, save my suite. Unfortunately I don't really know, I didn't really do anything crazy with them, but we always heard stories.

For example, we actually came to differentiate our friend Megan from this other Megan on our hall by calling the one on our hall "drunk Megan" 😛 Among other things, she was "that girl" that wound up getting the ambulance called on the first night of orientation for alcohol poisoning, but there were many more stories about both her and the rest of that hall. She also tried cheating on our Intro Bio I final because she'd missed most of our classes hungover all semester. Oops.

Ah, memories :laugh:

Haha! Freshmen are so funny...myself included. Everytime I'd get drunk...for some reason I felt the need to walk over to my RAs room and wisper into her ear that "shhhh...I am drunk"
She was awesome though and we studied Orgo together so she didn't care, just laughed.

I recall a spontaneous wrestling match (not fight, like, seriously with a circle and everything) occurring in the middle of a thunderstorm one Friday night. Amusing 😀

wow there are so many stories from freshman year. we were crazy kids!
we even planned a "drunk all day" day and signed a contract that we were all in it for sure...I think we scrapped those plans though cause Dooley's Ball was the next day and that's an insane night in itself.

anyways...I have a volunteer meeting to go to...see you guys later!

Sennheiser IE7. I love mine and got them after my HD 595 spoiled me. I figure I'm allowed to come into this ridiculous thread after my first bit of good news 🙂

idk, i tried some high end sennheisers, but i felt that their response was TOO flat. they make great studio monitors but i thought it lacked bass and the sybil is too high for me to enjoy especially modern music.

what's the good news btw?

I didn't even celebrate my 21st, because it was the first day of my MCAT prep course.

Also, I've never been drunk. And I've only gone out drinking twice. But I did have a thing for daiquiri's at on point, and had like 3 over a 4 day period. Which is probably nothing for you guys, but that's a lot for me.

also i drank at 17 for the first time... but i don't really drink very much, nor have i ever. i can count on one hand the times i've actually been drunk. i do enjoy a good beer, though 🙂

don't worry luun, i'm not a big drinker either. we can be sober buddies together🙂 i didn't wait til i was 21, but i think i probably drank about once a semester on average haha. pretty much only when my friends would egg me on because they felt bad i was always the dd.

Oh yeah. I had a sip of beer when I was a little kid. I was complaining about wanting something to drink, but not water, and we were out of juice. So my mom gave me a sip of her beer. DISGUSTING! So I always though alcohol was icky.

my mom has made me try her wine at times, but I usually refused because I never liked the taste.

Then at 20, went out for dinner and was facinated by the bright green drink a friend of mine ordered. She let me try it. It was yum. Midori Sour. Tastes just like a green apple jolly rancher. But in all those times, I never really had more than a sip of anything at a time.

I do remember hanging with some friend once. And though I wasn't drinking, I was just getting more hyper as they got more tipsy. It was funny. I called it "drinking by proxy" haha.
 
Apparently the Cavs + Cleveland Clinic are trying to raise awareness for breast cancer. All kinds of pink shoes and arm bands going on.

Haha, I think that's about how my first taste of beer went too. Also, my first drink of wine came when I took real communion at the Episcopal church. I thought I was going to die at the time because of how awful I thought it tasted.

i was 17 too...that was not a good experience haha. my friend decided i should drink, so she came over to my house for a sleepover and after my parents went to bed we drank 100 proof vodka straight it was sooo gross. then the worst part was that my friend got absolutely obliterated and i had to clean up her puke from the bathroom and literally drag her upstairs to my room so my parents wouldnt find her there in the am. all this while i was drunk for the very first time and ended up throwing up too (i at least made it in the sink, unlike her😛)

Around finals time the prof I had for orgo posts "puzzles" on the orgo alumni conference....they are so dang hard!

alright here it goes

Liz joins a nudist group to try to gain some confidence. She makes friends with this really obese woman who has a lot of moles. She brings her over to Christian to get her moles removed but Christian makes a comment about how he would give her a free lipo. So the fat woman seduces Christian and they hook up in the office and so the the episode is about being happy with who you are and sexuality (like when is it not).

These 2 couples come to Sean to get their sexual organs removed. They are mirror images of Barbie and Ken and they are doll enthusiasts. The woman wants her nipples removed and they want to stop having sex all together because they think it corrupts the relationship. Sean is uncomfortable but does the procedure anyway and removes the nipples (and obviously, the show can display the nipple-less boobs). But he then tells her how he thinks sex is important and blah blah. So they hook up. The boyfriend, Ken, finds out and comes out of the closet. He is actually with another doll-enthusiast who is in the army, and of course the dude is dressed up like a real life GI Joe. So GI Joe and Ken are having an affair.

Kimber finds out about the fat girl (shes with Christian now) and has issues about her image. Anyway, in the end Christian has a three-some with Kimber and Barbie and Sean gets with a hooker.

South Jersey has a brewery called Flying Fish. It makes excellent beer. Their extra pale ale might be the best beer ever.
