And my bf just came from there. I wanted to go but it's too cold and rainy. I want beignets!! I didn't wind up going last time I was planning on it (when I was teasing Spurs with yummy pics)

You could have tried Morning Call. They're open 24 hours too. Across from Lakeside. I haven't been there since I was a kid, but I remember liking the beignets.

I would actually take Pau over Duncan as of now, but duncan would be better at guarding centers I guess.

I debated for the fifteen seconds I took to type up that post, but in the end I decided I'd rather have some defense out of my PG position while still getting a great passing talent.

I'm not sure. Duncan's game is still more balanced, in terms of being able to anchor a team and the intangibles. Durant's going to be a star, definitely, but he's coming up. And he needs to work on his defense.

Well there's no debate I would want Duncan in the playoffs over Durant. But he's banged up right now and Durant is dominating with more upside. Duncan only has downhill to go, but I would want him on my playoff team.

There is no comparison. WNBA is so incredibly boring just because they don't have the same athleticism. They might be able to shoot just as well, but when you see people take JUMP SHOTS in the key instead of dunking it, it gets old.

No probably about it. English talent > US talent. We'll see what happens, though; the US has a good chance to advance still.

And the WNBA has other problems too...mostly, the pace of the game is just so atrociously bad.
