Maybe worth going just to listen to the non-snow region people freak out.

I had to try hard not to lol on monday when we got 1 inch of snow (which didn't stick to the roads) and a bunch of people told me how crazy driving was.:laugh:

Haha, we cancel school for less than that!! We don't know how to handle snow (except to play in what little actually sticks to the ground).

Yeah it took like 12" where I went to HS. Probably not the best idea to let all those 16-18 year olds drive around in that kind of snow though.


We actually got nearly 90 inches of snow last winter and my uni was cancelled twice, it only two times I had college cancled for weather.

Eh, I already know what my only Christmas present is. I mean, I'm happy for the break and happy to see my family, but the fun of the Christmas-y part of it has been kinda spoiled.

Are you excited for Christmas?

I usually end up getting nothing (my family always doesn't celebrate anything big except Thanksgiving). I also get nothing 2 days after Christmas (my bday!). It's always good to have family and friends near by though.

I'm excited for time off from school and to see my one sibling that I don't get to see much.

I haven't even decided my agenda yet, I'm going to be at my parents for one week an then ? for the other.

Yea. I know for a fact that I am getting nada this year...not even from myself-AND I LOVE giving presents. Life is expensive!
 
My family's not big on presents and other Christmasy stuff either. We don't even celebrate x-mas on x-mas most of the time (we do it on St. Lucia's day).

I always thought Christmas birthdays wouldn't be any fun - double-gifting and all (Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday). How old are you gonna be?

My big Christmas (and birthday and next Christmas and next birthday, etc.) present is a trip to Las Vegas in January!

I like your beer taste, Zona - a lot like mine. The only kinds I don't like are the stouts and porters, they're too syrup-y.
