I so interpreted this as ya know, "getting lucky" wink wink. I'm sure he'd be happy if he died or lived in that case. But his counterpart would be sad I guess.

haha... that's terrible

his counterpart would definitely be sad however

what if spurs is the first gnome and *cracks voice* didnt make it?

So, Spurs is either the dictator or gnome #100?

I say, either way, the gnomes, once they have successfully survived, should revolt.

what happens even if they survive though.

its just another day of tyranny

now you can figure out how many days until the whole gnome species is wiped out if this game is played on a daily basis

yea, let's go with the overthrow thing. if the gnomes are smart they'd build some guns and kill the dictator

Maybe it wasn't good for her. Then she'd be glad that he wouldn't be asking for
more.

They should have revolted before. Their numbers were more then!!!!

Anybody knows the solution to the famous balance problem?

You are given a set of scales and 12 marbles. The scales are of the old balance variety. That is, a small dish hangs from each end of a rod that is balanced in the middle. The device enables you to conclude either that the contents of the dishes weigh the same or that the dish that falls lower has heavier contents than the other. The 12 marbles appear to be identical. In fact, 11 of them are identical, and one is of a different weight. Your task is to identify the unusual marble and discard it. You are allowed to use the scales three times if you wish, but no more.
Note that the unusual marble may be heavier or lighter than the others. You are asked to both identify it and determine whether it is heavy or light.

ok so lets label the doors 1 (goat) 2 (goat) 3 (car)!

case 1: say you pick door 1 originally. the host gets rid of door 2 and switching means you win

case 2: say you pick door 2 originally. the host gets rid of door 1 and switching means you win again

case 3: say you pick door 3 originally. the host gets rid of either door 1 or 2 and switching means you get a goat (lame).

so 2/3 of the time you'd get a car by switching

What is up with all these riddles. Goats and Gnomes. And BTW that one was in the movie 21.

if these gnomes were premeds they would totally mess it up to literally gun down their competition...

i am so burnt out from coming up with the answer to the rope problem and saving the gnomes... someone tell me the scale problem answer.
