Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make that two rough games.

Brees was still razor sharp against Tampa but the defense just didn't pull through... and they even had a chance to win in regulation. I don't know. I think they still are the team to beat and not Dallas.
Come on, man. It was Tampa; there's no excuse for that. And last I checked, no matter how good Brees may have been, you gotta play on both sides of the ball.

I don't think there is a favorite right now in the NFC; there are a lot of people on the Cowboys bandwagon, but again I just can't see Romo going three straight weeks against good opponents without having one of his brain farts. In my mind it's wide open in the NFC; the Saints have struggled, Favre is too old to still win in January (he started off the last two seasons hot too before fading in December and January), and I still can't see Aaron Rodgers or Tony Romo going to the Super Bowl. So in my mind, that leaves the Eagles and the Cards, and I just think with the exception of yesterday the Eagles have been a little hotter lately. But really, I wouldn't be shocked to see any of those teams make it, I don't think there's a huge difference in talent/ability between any of the two teams.
agreed. All i want is just to see the colts dominate regardless😛. Also today i got 2 acceptance calls!! it was sweet and best of all one was a UC school. Now i get to stay in cali yay! On the down side, I have a nonrefundable ticket to Oregon now that im stuck with lol...idk if i just go to the interview for fun or just not go but then my ticket is just useless and i wasted 200 bucks 🙁....I should have read the fine print.
Congrats!

Fyi, Ohio winter sports get more and more interesting. Apparently, I'm going snowshoeing tomorrow.😱
Snowshoefail.

Should have waited another 24 hours. Or two weeks/months.

yah the NFC is wide open, though im still leaning towards the cowboys/vikings. I dont trust rogers a whole lot or that team. The cards have some key injuries and no bolden scares me. Eagles i still think are good, everyone has a bad game from time to time before that they had been solid, im going to give them the benefit of the doubt. But i still dont think they can beat the boys or vikings. Vikings are just too complete and farve this whole season has shown that he can step back and not throw 12931092 picks. Unless he reverts i see the vikings coming out. The AFC is already sown up between colts/chargers.

Yeah, and the Vikings' pass D is suspect. And don't forget that no running back fumbles more than Adrian Peterson.

More importantly though, all of a sudden Jared Allen looks human again.

The Vikes have that one-and-done look about them too.

Right now I definitely feel like there is a big gap between the Colts+Chargers and everyone else. Those two teams just seem way more complete. Every other team has way more holes you can poke in them.

The cowboys will choke.

As a Cowboys fan, I fully expect it.

Then again, I just don't really like any of the six teams in the NFC. One of them is going to make the Super Bowl, somehow, but on the surface it seems like all of them have a fatal flaw waiting to rear its ugly head.

elijah that is SO SO SO exciting! which UC was it? is that where you're planning on going? yay that you can stay close to your son! i've really been rooting for you this whole app season so CONGRATS!!! :woot:

That's crazy! I want some cheap airfare for the summer...

What's in Lima?

Peruvian stuff, duh.

Admittedly, here's some food for thought:

ESPN said:
TCU dominated the Mountain West. How good is the MWC? It was difficult to know during the season since many of its games were cleverly hidden from national television cameras, but you know if you've watched the bowl games. The MWC is 4-0 so far, and every victory has been a spectacular, take-notice statement.
Wyoming was a 10-point underdog against Fresno State and scored a one-touchdown upset. Brigham Young was a three-point underdog against Oregon State and dominated the Beavers by 24. Utah was a 2½-point dog to California and won by 10. Air Force was a 4½-point underdog to Houston and won by 27.

TCU's average margin of victory over those four conference opponents? An emphatic 24 points. The Frogs didn't just win big games; they dominated big games.
But don't forget the nonconference work as well. TCU beat Clemson on the road in September; the Tigers won the Music City Bowl over Kentucky. TCU handled SMU easily in October; the Mustangs won the Hawaii Bowl over Nevada in a rout.
The Frogs were 6-0 against bowl-bound opponents -- and all six of those teams now have won their bowls. How you like 'em now?

That's a very good post, Spurs - even if you didn't write it yourself.

Of course right now I don't think they're doing so hot, but I just tuned in.

Missed FG Boise!

It's spelled Brazil on all of our maps.

It's spelled Brasil on their maps and their soccer stuff.

Potatoes, potatoes.

Yeah, just like we don't pronounce "Barcelona" as "Barthelona."

Unless you're from Spain or actually trying to sound pretentious.

I've been back at my house for a grand total of 30 minutes and I have work tomorrow at 8:30am. 🙁

And so the rest of the holiday begins - 1 day off in the next 2 weeks.

Wow that's hardcore. Makes my first place in fantasy bball look like weak sauce 😛

Well, at least you can brag about how our league is ginormous compared to most, right?

My fantasy team has improved drastically since the first 2 weeks. I lost those 2 matchups and haven't lost since.

Uc Davis. And unless ucla by a mircle accepts me in a few weeks I'll probably end up here. Even then idk. Hard to decide between uc Davis uc irvine and ucla. But it's a good problem🙂

and I'm up. sorry for the extended leave of absence! I was too busy...

...getting engaged! 🙂

Hellloooo... I've had a small hiatus I guess. How goes it in 2014?

Congrats (for the second time) BB! haha... how great it must be to feel old 😛

I received another interview today :woot: Toledo, here I come!

Hope you had fun in Disney. It's too cold though.

It was okay. I just can't stand the families and the inconsiderate foreigners.

It was too cold for the last half of my trip and too crowded for the first half. Just can't win. New Year's Eve at Epcot was fun, though.

My hotel (Animal Kingdom Lodge) kicked ass! There were giraffes and antelopes roaming around an outlook by the lobby.

Oooh, met, did you see me face plant at the end of halftime??? And more importantly, did you like our new tiger eye flags that we used during pregame??

Oh, that was you! I couldn't find you on the field since everyone's hair looked the same, and I think I barely someone eating dirt at the end of the show.

I love the Tiger Eye flags, they're so much better than the stupid blue and green flags. Why do we even use blue and green anyway?

Haha, yep! My claim to fame. 😳

Well, the blue and green ones are half time ones and are supposed to match the theme of the show. We'd never use those for a pregame show. We were supposed to use the tiger eye ones for halftime too but they were all wet and the ink starting running. 🙁

Yeah, once I went through pregame, I was done trying to be clean. I had shoes with no bottoms, and tights with a hole in the bottom, and I was in ankle deep mud. It was g-ross.
