Tony DiSanto, president of programming for MTV, said that the show will return for mid-summer and that means that shooting would be underway pretty soon so don't expect The Situation, Snookie, Sammi, Pauly, Vinny and J-Woww to be back at their Seaside Heights house next time you see them.
In fact, DiSanto said that the gang will escape the cold Northeast and find themselves in a new destination. Man, we can only imagine where MTV will plop our favorite guidos and guidettes. Who needs that lame shore house when the network can have their jollies transplanting the cast in some of these exotic locations:

'Jersey Shore' in Las Vegas: We can easily imagine exploits like deejay Pauly D. manning the steel wheels at some of the hottest clubs on The Strip and having the rest of the cast work in a casino to earn their keep. Sammi the lifegaurd? Ronni the Bouncer? J-Wow the featured club dancer? Vinny the valet? Snooki the blackjack dealer? And as for The Situation? Well, with his gift for gab, the casino can make him a bartender. That's a show we'd watch!

'Jersey Shore' in Los Angeles: MTV can repurpose that gaudy backlot set they used a few seasons ago on "The Real World: Hollywood" and have the "Jersey Shore" cast do what we all know what they want anyway -- persue a career in showbiz. We'd be prepping the popcorn for that one as well.

'Jersey Shore' in South Beach: We're guessing this is probably the way the network will go. Keep it sorta East Coast in Miami's hippest hot spots. With all of the gorgeous residents the area has to offer, the guys and gals will be tempted to Kingdom Come and the drama will just ooze onto the screen. Heighten it tenfold if Ronni and Sammi are still together.


wow if they go to South Beach I'm gonna have to make some friends to get on that show

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I have to have some resentment for OSU after they rejected me. :laugh:

But you're right, a championship year is a good year when you're competing with so many other schools.

I know - he's always doing stuff like that and hosting random teams that didn't even win championships at the White House. He's a lazy ass. Plus, he didn't invite LSU over when they won the CWS (not that college baseball is that important, but it's the principle).

The week after they rejected me they lost to Purdue - it was one of the happier irrelevant football games that I can remember.

I also like how 2 days after the SOTU address, they decided to look into the legality of the BCS.

Politicians just think, "Well, **** I have no ****ing clue what to do about this stuff that actually matters... let's distract the public by going after something that EVERYONE can agree on so people will like me in the next election!" 🙄

2 good things just happened:

1. I ate ribs 😀
2. I just received my parents' tax return, so I can do FAFSA now. I guess that could be a bad thing since it means I actually have to do something productive.
 
I had a dream some strange virus started in my basement with my dogs and then spread to humans. It made them extremely violent and twitchy. I even went to the lab and tested it on C. elegans and saw that they became twitchy and aggressive. Then I was on the run as it rapidly spread amongst humans.

Even my dreams are nerdy. :lame:

It's better than the crapfest I just watched.

LSU's basketball team is abyssmal and one of the worst big 6 teams in the country. I knew we'd have a big drop-off this year, but not this bad. We'll be lucky to win 1 SEC game this year.

Haha it's been a while... I think we did that as part of a drinking game called King's Cup last year sometime down on the River Walk. Good times 🙂

Sounds like I'm missing some good sports.
 
I want to play in the snow but I'm an idiot and left my snow boots at home. I was like, What's the chance of having two blizzards in one winter? 100% apparently.
 
In Louisiana, you have to fill out FAFSA to be eligible for TOPS, our state school scholarship program.

It pays for almost all the tuition of state schools for LA residents.

Wow, I think if southern states experienced real winter weather for more than a week at a time, they would just fall apart. It would actually be pretty terrifying to be driving on the roads with people who have no idea how to drive on ice or snow.

Apparently Dallas is "shivering" with a daytime high of 26 degrees... 🙄
