I am supposed to tutor someone tomorrow for 1 (ONE!!!) hour. I email them to remind them of this and ask them if they have any specific questions.
This is what I get back:

I placed out of 141 from AP credit, and they keep talking about the lacz gene and xgal and that stuff that I think they may have touched on in 141 that I am having trouble with. Like when a precipitate is blue or white what does that mean.

Also, there are a couple questions on an outline I have that I dont know the answers to and was looking for help. I will type them out in case you want to see before hand.

- Describe the impact of gene transfer between bacteria on the environment, health, and evolution.
- Explain why the F plasmid is able to integrate at different places in the bacterial chromosome.
- What is DNA methylation? - I think I know this.
- Be able to predict the frequency of a restriction site in a genome.
- Differences between SNPs, RFLPs, VNTRs, and how each is detected.
- Gene duplication (replication slippage, inappropriate recombination, and transposon hopping)

I also have a practice exam, that if we have time I would like to look at.

Basically, we have a test on Tuesday and I just want to make sure I have everything I need to study correct.

I will appreciate any help you can give me, and I will see you tomorrow!
