I like the penguin...saw it the other day on some blood samples that needed to be shipped for analysis (cept it said "keep frozen")
and you know how I feel about the 😡 face. do not tempt me!

you're in good company! 😉

i think med school is going to be a big group of weirdos.
haha god...this process kind of crystallizes all the weirdness found all over one's brain into a mega weirdness

Profile interview? What's that?
the pre-health office here is doin them on applicants that have been "successful" (c'mon there are people doing way better than me!) in this process...kind of give advice and familiarize them with the hell they are about to enter
My fiancée got accepted to Michigan's pharmacology graduate program today! Hoping to be in Ann Arbor in a few short months. :xf: Go, go gadget financial aid!
YAY!
YAY YAY!
YAY YAY YAY!
it is half of a yay pyramid!

*cough*weird*cough*

yea that's not cool, it's like she completely doesn't get that she's the last one of her species and it's up to her to promote their legacy.
If you find me a cool+cute dino avatar I am game...otherwise...DEAL WID IT!

figure skating is entertaining. the reaction of the partner's face/body when the other crashes is great

going to south africa would be amazing in itself

but going to south africa to watch the world cup is not worth it.

if it was somewhere in europe it would be do-able and i dont think you would feel the need to really explore the city/country and maybe also true for brazil, but roundtrip tix to south africa is like 2000$+ and some of the necessary commodities will cost you a lot over there, plus you would be only able to see one or two games.

just not worth it

to each his own. one game is enough for my lifetime. i would probably create a vacation out of the trip anyway. hmmm now i need to look up where it will be in the future.

I WILL FIND YOU A NEW AND BETTER ONE!!!

tomorrow.

Also, never run down hardwood stairs in fuzzy socks, which have no grip. I almost died several times over winter break doing this.

brazil is next, that one would be much easier to do. flights are like 700-800 roundtrip and you can just party up in the city and feel like it was worth it

THEY DO!

At the hospital ..

For surgeries I got some.

But socks suck.

CLothes suck.

oh my, what's going on tonight in sammich's life?

socks are good for sliding down my hardwood floor hallway. ya know, get a running start and just let it rip, with proper wood surfing posture of course.

my friend wants me to go to macchu pichu this summer with him. i really want to, but i have way too many thing i wanna do and only like 1.5 months do do them in!

what would you guys choose:
-nola to meet up with you all
-south america for a few weeks-not sure exactly where but for sure macchu pichu
-france for a couple weeks to visit a close friend who's in circus school there
-cruise with a friend to the carribean
-a week at a summer house on a lake with my friend and her family (i've gone with them the past 3 summers)

i can probably do 3 or maybe 4 if i go like nonstop and if the school i end up doesn't start til mid-late august. oh and a couple things have to be certain weeks-nola july 7-14 and week at the lake july 14-21. ahh i need more time!

I'd probably do those 3.

Good, good question. Not 100% sure at the moment, so if I get into both, this may cause a dilemma.

👍

I want some!
My mommy had a surgery on her ankle and they gave her (several) pairs she loves those things!
I HAD ANKLE/LEG SURGERY!!!

What did she have?

I had an ORIF

Then exploratory, remove some hardware thingy

Then z-plasty.

Look it up.

Or don't - i'll tell you.

They lengthened my achilles 5cm.

NOT FUN.

The nerve block didn't take.

I woke up from surgery screaming.

Good stuff.

well she had a complication from a childhood illness that damaged the cartilage in the area....it is completely gone now and she has severe arthritis in that ankle 🙁 they fused the joint so that it doesn't hurt as much....she might have to get a joint replacement down the line but right now she is too young-not even 50 yet.

ok sammich....what did you take? you are bouncing off the figurative walls.
