Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
That's awesome. I visited SD over Christmas break for the first time and was blown away. You have a beautiful city! It was perfect weather too, low 70's in late Dec/early Jan.

🙁 My friends text a lot anyway, I don't much at all. I hate it, it's a waste of time, money, and energy. I'd rather e-mail or just talk. As far as your friends go, you can get excited to meet new peeps this fall! I'm way excited to make some new friends and switch up my social life a little bit. I like everybody here, and I get along great with my roomies, but it'll be exciting to change everything around next year.
But waiting for fall is even more of a reason to hate this semester.

which I already do.

BLAH.

Drunk and sad.

No good.

IM me?

i think we should all air out our problems.

which reminds me, my friend (who is 5 feet nothing, 110 lbs) tried to fight 2 bouncers at a club the other night. he called them uneducated, never heard that diss in a fight before

Never having visited, it's hard to say an exact pinpoint location, but somewhere in Northern Cal around Napa, I guess.

NOT the bay area. God no.

haha ok then i guess i dont totally agree with you. i love san fran...for me, in cali its sd or sf...i cant do la at all. napa area is definitely nice, but not to live (for me). you should come out west at some point (and help our struggling economy!)

i could probably live in SD, LA, or SF

but the only thing is that I heard the cost of living is so high, you have to work your ass off there (esp in the graduate sciences and finance) and you don't really get to enjoy much

I was trying to come out this summer during my road trip and ride up the coast, but it doesn't even look like my trip is happening at all. 🙁

youre right, the cost of living is really high, but thats why i value SD so much...sure the rent is steep, but you have beaches, parks, the bay, gaslamp district, hikes, kayaking, etc etc, all of which are either free or dont cost much. i could go on, i just love my city. SF is def cool too, but again, very expensive.

You guys also have a kick-ass zoo!

 i haven't even gotten around to emailing my letter of interests or whatever and i had those written in october. i'm too lazy for facebook i think, just look at my fantasy bball team, i gave up after 2 days.

yeah the zoo is great...and whats funny is that anchorman is actually really true because whenever a new panda is born, sd goes apesh*t over it. its the first story and lasts like 10 minutes of a 30 min newscast, and not to mention all the press it gets when they finally choose a name! pretty funny actually

All that for an animal that doesn't technically belong to us.

Panda bears are evolutionarily pointless if you think about it.

All those in favor of brooklyn making a facebook right now, say aye.

Aye!!

NOLA's zoo is one of the best, too, it just doesn't get as much rep as SD.

Yall can see it if you come down this summer.

Are there pandas there? Definitely gotta have pandas.

NOLA's aquarium is also really awesome. The only one I've ever been to (not in Seaworld) that competes is Georgia's because of the whale sharks.

Baltimore aquarium is pretty awesome, if I remember correctly from back in the day. Monterey Bay Aq. too.

Baby pandas always make the front page in the Washington Post.

panda's are sick but bears are overrated. someone should just say **** it and cage a human from birth and see how it goes, humanely, of course

I saw this Animal Planet show about a baby panda and they showed a taping of the birth and it was crazy!

The baby just shot (and I mean shot) out of the mother right into a concrete wall! It looked like a ball out of a cannon or something.
