No, not at all. It's not like Black Hawk Down or Saving Private Ryan or anything like that. It makes a bold statement without trying too hard. It definitely keeps you thinking afterwards, at least for me.

-lstone: hope you had a safe flight, i was at the airport at 4am too! my parents had a 530 flight to mexico so i dropped them off. good thing is the airport is only like 5 mins away from my house, so it shouldn't have really messed up my sleep that much but then i couldn't fall back asleep. and when i finally did, i had all these crazy vivid dreams, like the kind where you wake up thinking they were real! oh well, i hope the parentals have fun on vaca-it's their 30th wedding anniversary present to themselves🙂 my kiddies better be well behaved today though, cuz i'm not awake enough for any shennanigans!

so have those of you doing lent decide what you're giving up? i decided on high fructose corn syrup. i'm also gonna try to limit other manmade chemicals put in processed food-msg and hydrogenated stuff in particular-but i decided it would be too hard to completely take away all that stuff. lots of oreos, ice cream, etc for me today to stock up!🙂
