i don't think i can go to any non-california revisits. it's a shame, because some of them sound like a blast

I kinda just want to go to the revisit of the school I know I'm going to.

I can't imagine that a second look weekend will sway my decision all that much.

It would just be great to meet faculty and classmates in advance.

Bah, hard to say, but I'll give a best estimate.

If I get into Columbia, I'm 99% sure I'll go.

If I don't, then I'll say it's 60% BU, 40% other.

I didn't know you decided that. But if money is the most important factor, it doesn't really make sense to waste money on re-visits when you'll go where ever is cheapest. And it's not like you haven't seen these places already.

yea i dont think 2nd visits would sway me either, but it would be a good time to check out the talent and layout some foundation

i'm going to the jhu revisit though. did you decide to go to the washu one instead?

I haven't decided between the two. Did you just like JHU better? I did, but I know there's a better chance of Wash U being cheaper.

True - I think if money is your #1 factor, then maybe you shouldn't go to revisits.

yeah i liked jhu better (but i think this might have been influenced by fellow interviewees. washu had some crazies). i don't have too much confidence in my ability to nab a scholarship from washu anyway 😛
 
I agree with Brooklyn. Come on, really? Second look isn't going to sway someone like me. I'd just be 1) scoping the whole time and 2) seeing how chill the other guys are.

You'd get one before me. And yeah, I agree with the WashU crazies thing, but it's still a great school.
 
Plus the only school I've gotten into doesn't have a second look 🙁

I'm going to VCU second look because I was only in Richmond for 1 day and it was gross and raining. Not quite the best first impression of a city.

I also would like to meet the class, since I have a feeling I know what the majority of LSU's class will be like already.

My decision is really close right now, so I need all the help I can get.

i dont think any of my schools have 2nd look. I have no money regardless. Im going to the cheapest school most likely anywyas unless ucla decides to do something crazy and take me.

yea, i feel like there's a good chance it might make you feel worse about the school or med school in general or the town that its in, etc etc

but for some one like Kit Kat, it might be a nice thing to go to and see where you want to be and what not
 
esp UNC, that place would be fun. everyone is approachable at the bar and some bars entertain grad students, so you know, I can tell them that I am a new incoming basketball recruit from Jersey
 
My boss and all the other employees in my office are playing Sporcle right now.
