We do that lots of that here in Iowa. :laugh: But seriously, we do. Lots of people in the countryside around where I grew up got busted for having meth labs, and more than a few houses in rural Iowa have burned down from meth explosions when people mix the wrong stuff at the wrong time.

The parish (that's county for non-LA people) next to East Baton Rouge is infamous for everbody there being meth-heads and having meth labs. That's where the Bass Pro Shop is.
 
people have started making meth on the go in the midwest. so the number of burnt vans and plastic soda bottles and patients with burns on their faces or hands have increased. full delivery service

I'm not actually going to start a meth lab. I only have one sudafed, I'm pretty sure that wouldn't give me anything anyway

I'm not excited for the whole moving back to Florida part of things. It's gonna be pricey and annoying. I am excited to finally be done with undergrad and get med school started. I feel like I'm very stagnant right now and really want to move on.
 
What is it that reacts to cause the explosion when making meth? Just curious.

I am, however, really excited to go visit my family in Florida on Sunday. I wish FSU was closer to home, but it's still about 8 hours away.

Exactly. I'm so done with this semester and this whole phase of my life, it's not even funny. Undergrad's been a great learning experience for so many things but I'm done. Plus all of my friends here have turned into super-douches lately so I'm over that too.

Undergrad has been incredibly important in helping me mature and become who I am today, but that process ground to a halt several months ago and I am now, as you so eloquently put it, stagnant. What happened with your friends to make them into super-douches?? 🙁

Yeah, I felt done a few months ago as well.

It's just one of those things where the people I thought were my good friends... weren't.. ya know? And I feel like everyone I know turns into a mega-jerk once they start dating someone.. meh. I'm one of those people that tends to have a small number of close friends rather than a ton of kind of friends and the people I picked as good friends weren't really who I thought they were. It's ok - I get a fresh start with fresh people in May.

i think the gas produced is toxic on its own
