haha i'm the complete opposite of all you guys-once i'm up, i'm up! i can't fall back asleep at all after i've been woken up in the morning, which is sometimes a good thing but can be bad if i really want to go back to sleep (like last week when i took my parents to the airport at 4am and couldn't go back to bed...c'mon!)

and I just finished reading furschgott's nobel prize article on Nitrous Oxide free radical vasodilation. I can't think of anything "stuffier" than that.

me too! i can wake up at any time and feel awake rather quickly. i'm such a light sleeper in the morning so if you wake me up, chances are i won't go back to sleep. unfortunately, i can't nap, ever. it doesn't matter how tired i am. i don't think i've taken a nap in years.

People can bash the Carribean and DO all day, but once you f**k with an MD school sh** hits the fan. This makes me want to go MD even more.

hahahaha, I'd get it if the info. were proven false... but this is far beyond "locked", maybe because the title itself is damaging enough if it were untrue.

me either! usually people think i'm weird, i'm glad i found a non-napping buddy🙂 i sometimes wish i weren't such a light sleeper, especially days like today when my silly brother turned on the downstairs tv at 630am slightly too loud and it woke me up.

I have a physio exam the day I come back from break and all the athletes are on trips, so there's no good parties. The Beer Olympics are this weekend I think, so I'll get ahead on my studies so I can participate.

I'm watching the Pistons game as well. I'm really not making a valiant effort to sleep.

What are you contemplating for your snack?

My pointers: if you don't want a picture, don't waste your time. 😛 You can buy your cap and gown at the bookstore anytime. But I suppose it's convenient that everything is together. It's pretty simple though. Eat some free food. Buy some graduation clothes. Get flyers.

I believe it though. I know people who got into Wayne's Med school this cycle that I would never have imagined getting into a med school. And their only acceptance was Wayne. I mean, I'm not an Adcom and I shouldn't be judging, but Wayne makes me feel like I have the chance to get accepted. There's an 80% chance that it's going to be where I'll end up. I have a "connection" i.e. mom of a friend who can hook me up...

it always sucked when campus was empty for breaks.

ice cream vs fresh strawberries with chocolate syrup drizzled on top.

maybe the wayne thread represented slander and the school requested that the thread be taken down.

All of the Doctors I have shadowed went to Wayne. And most of the Docs @ the hospital I volunteer at are from Wayne. They are solid docs. I thought Wayne prepared for the boards though; I know they have specific board classes for their nursing and PA programs.

Okay, I might not go then.

I don't want a picture or announcements, since anyone that is going to give me money for graduation already knows I'm graduating. I don't want money from anyone else anyway.

Hmm thats fair, but can you confirm if the thread subject was true or not? I'm actually really interested. I drove by Wayne's med school on Saturday. (It's kind've ghetto around the school. Lots of hobos).

That's the great thing about med schools. If you're good you're good and it'll be recognized.

I'm actually a beliver that that's true for pretty much everything in life, although some fields (*cough*law*cough*) coming out of smaller schools you have to be straight up gangster to get the recognition as opposed to the more good here=good there attitude in medicine.

So, we lost our game 14-1, but apparently the goalie for the other team thinks I'm a better goalie than he is. But it's hard to know that for sure, as we only took five or so shots on him.:laugh::laugh::laugh::laugh:

I recently parted ways with my "pair". Whatevs.

At least I know that Nitric Oxide is the Endothelium Derived Relaxing Factor. Nothing can give me more peace of mind.
