I am sorry to hear your news about MCG stone.
This process is just so random sometimes-I mean you interviewed and I firmly believe, will get into Vandy and I was shown the door with no secondary or interview.
Just keep your head up girl-game is far from over!
 
use the youtube tags [ youtube ] and [ /youtube ] and just put in the "MqGLHluDoe0" part in between it

brooklynblunderbuss black chocolate stout is pretty good. i dont think i would drink more than one or two at one sitting though
 
since it is beer convo time-i will throw in that i like newcastle and sweetwater.
and with that i am off to finish my sculpture and hopefully not be so pissed off.

are you sure you need a class? personally, i felt like the kaplan course was a huge waste of time and money.

first mcat: kaplan (~1600 bucks)-26
second mcat: examkrackers and aamc tests (~300 bucks)-31

it probably just depnds a lot on learning style though. sitting in class wasting time on topics i understood/listening to not the greatest teachers just didn't work for me. when i just did it myself and buckled down, it worked wayyy better. obviously it's entirely up to you though. either way, good luck!!🙂

Yeah looking back, the Kaplan class was a waste of money for me.

I took the class because I wanted to be sure that I'd have some outside influence that would force me to study.

However, I realized that I'm actually pretty self-motivated, and my time would have been better spent on my own rather than in the class.

The science materials are good with Kaplan. But their verbal is absolute crap. Nothing at all like the real thing.

taty, i thought of you when i was reading something today. it listed different kinds of yogurt from around the world and the russian yogurt was the one that was slightly alcoholic haha😛

Yeah, I tried self studying once and it just didn't work for me. I need the outside influence.....

that was exactly the same with me! i thought i needed the structure of a class since i was usually the crammer-type, but i was able to pace myself much better than i thought. it actually made me realize that i do much better reading stuff than listening to a lecturer when i tend to zone out-probably a useful discovery for med school as long as i don't go somewhere with mandatory lectures🙂

Rather than trying to figure out broadly whether princeton or kaplan is better, sometimes it's nice to see what other people in your area have taken. Sometimes there's a really good teacher at a local kaplan place that may make it a better option than princeton review, or vice-versa

yea, i think theyre pretty much the same, it just depends on individual teachers.
