Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Come to MICHIGAN!!! We need the tourist money to help our economy!!

Seriously though, if you guys are ever in town, I'm down to chill.

P.S. I just made the most epic schedule ever for my next fall and winter.

I've been to Michigan.

Let me try to remember what cities...

Grand Rapids, and some suburb of Detroit.... Fenton? or something like that?! Somewhere with a place called "Myspace Cafe" or something similar I believe.

Sammich, if you find out Ra is playing in Boston, I will definitely consider going. They're from there - one of my favorite bands that I might never see because they don't come anywhere near here.

I don't know if any of you guys shop at express but I am about to buy 4 polos for 56 plus shipping (they are like 35 normally).

Not sure how you guys feel about Express but I like their polo's as much as I like mine from Lacoste and probably more than Polo Ralph Lauren and that is super cheap for "nice" clothing.

When is he coming and for how long? There was some talk of a trip down south in the summer.
April 28 - May 2.

The trip to NOLA is happening when I'm in med school and I'm not sure I've convinced people to drive to Tally yet..

👍 That's a really good deal.

I like Express polos because they have lots of colors and the lion thingy is cool. I need to lose some weight so I can fit into my red and blue ones.

I'll be there for a wedding in June, but it's a family affair so no SDN meet-ups allowed. :d

Did you work out your biochem mess?

Yeah I am pretty tiny so they fit me really well, I think Express is a bit on the slimmer cut side which is probably why I like them and Lacoste better than Polo which uses a bit larger form.

But for 19.99 and 30 off 75 you really can't beat that, and they are good polos.

I agree here. I like how comfortable Polos are, but they are wide in the abdomen region. I like my polos to taper in from the shoulders down, which is why I like Lacoste and Express better. Too bad I can't afford any of them right now.

I haven't bought new clothes (unless given some) in almost 2 years.

this one's a better song (I think) and filmed in my hometown.
might as well complete the set. This is the most recent and is probably still playing on Fuse/MTV(whichever number plays music)

Lacoste has some colors on sale for I think ~50. I might pick up a blue one because no one beats Lacoste colors.

You haven't experienced Michigan if you haven't been to Birmingham, Royal Oak, or Bloomfield Hills IMO. If you're ever back here holla at me I'm down to chill.

Express is a bit on the slimmer fit, but their polos shoulders are too narrow for me. They do have a larger cut on the thicker polos; those might only be seasonal though.

I recommend burberry polos if you like the way the express ones fit. The burberry adds a little bit more than just having a plain polo on and you can get them for like 20$ a piece online if you look hard enough.

I used to buy different brands of polo shirts to collect all of the little animal logos on the side.

You should buy a Perlis shirt - it has a crawfish - and everybody in Narnia would be wondering where you got that.

haha.. I love this conversation.

I recently got a bunch of Old Navy and VS stuff in the mail. That's the first time in a long time I've gotten new clothes.

I have so many potential things to do on Saturday:

Top o the Hops beerfest north of NOLA, Zapp's beerfest in BR, LSU-NO Camp Tiger Auction Dinner thingy, watching basketball....

What should I do? I was thinking the beerfest north of NOLA during the day, and then going to the LSU event at night to maybe meet some students and get a better feel for the school.

Forever 21 had polos with a guitar logo, I think that is pretty cool. Can't find them anymore though.

I've also seen a polo that had the Ralph Lauren polo player falling off the horse. I thought that was hilarious.

Does VS stand for what I think it stands for?

Where has blobby bob been? I miss making fun of his blobbiness. Maybe he's all blobbed out.

actually where I am from they don't sell Lacoste or JCrew or Brooks Brothers for like 100 miles in any direction so its not uncommon that someone thinks Lacoste or Brooks Bro polo's are "cheap ripoffs". I've heard its generic Hollister, American Eagle, Abercrombie, and Polo. It's kind of funny and thankfully kills that whole "you only buy it because its a status symbol" nonsense. I buy them because I wear a polo every day and have tried so many to know that AE are made super cheap (I swear no 2 fit the same way) Hollister are okay for a few wears but the way they make the button holes starts to look messed up and is really thick to begin with. Gap is not comfortable, Oldnavy fits like a King sized bed sheet (seriously I think two of me can fit in a small around the waste). Many of the dept. store brands aren't vented, and for some reason I don't like them not vented.

...why am I explaining all this?

Polo is like the only higher end brand in our mall there (which is kind of stunning if you think of where I live) and they have an Express.

I'm going to bed.

I agree about AE and sizes. But i think its more of a problem for the guys than the girls. and I used to shop jcrew hard...and then the prices quadrupled. Im a huge fan of clothes that retain shape with wear, and layering, so I roll with victoria secret tees. of course your favorite pair of jeans, a hoody and you're set!

Old Navy is the worst regarding shape. terrible stuff.
