football, duh. plus i hate to move, and i'd either have to move back home or live in a much more expensive place. the place i'm at now i pay 300 a month and it covers everything, including utilities, internet, washer dryer, etc.

Yea, working in a lab there, plus teaching MCAT and doing some tutoring, pretty chill stuff

I'm happy I'm going to med school semi-away from home and I'm planning on going far far away for residency.

Yah, but I don't consider it home, haha. There are some schools that could have been even closer to my family. I love coming home for holidays but I like my space and they get too up in it sometimes. San Diego for residency sounds really nice...

BC over Yale 9-7 😱. I hate the Eagles. bleh. Its down to RIT, Wisco, BC and Miami. GO REDHAWKS!

I agree - I want Miami to win after they came soooo close last year.

Mainstream sports people were missing out if they missed that game and the lacrosse championship game. Two of the best games in any sport last year.

I'm not a huge wolverine fan, although I would love to go to med-school at Umich. It's just a huge deal because the NCAA will lose at least a million dollars in ticket sales because everyone is gonna protest the frozen four. Every radio station was blowing about about how much of a BS call it was.

U of M's goalie had the puck covered under his pad and a Miami of OH player hit the puck out from under it and scored a goal. That is fine and dandy. When U of M scores a goal, the ref blows the whistle and claims he lost sight of the puck and thought it was covered. Everyone and their mother saw the puck chilling in the crease. It was clearly a goal that was robbed. It is the most inconsistent refereeing of a game I can think of in a while.

P.S. the blown off goal that U of M scored was in Overtime. They blew off a goal in freaking overtime.

It's in Detroit, they would've had at least 30k people a game with U of M in it. I seriously would've went with my boys. It's just poor performance by the NCAA.
 
I don't think I'll ever get really into any sport. I'll cheer for my school's team and be like WOOOOO USAAAAAA during the Olympics, but that's about it.

Sports fandom is more about fandom and less about the sport. You'll really get into a sport only when you identify with a team. Try rooting for Virginia Tech or something, I'm sure Jackson will show you the ropes 😀
 
Anybody watch Jersey Shore? I just watched a few episodes, it's actually kinda entertaining. How do you think ppl will view a Chinese guido?

The Real World takes 6 months of filming the people to get enough drama for a show. Jersey shore was 1 month of pure action. And women love guidos, they absolutely adore them. Throw some cameras with those guys at the club and it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

I might actually attempt to watch the UConn-Baylor game just to see how they get around the huge freshman that blocks about 9234875475 shots per game.
 
two interesting* factoids:
1) i stayed away from SDN for a large portion of today
2) i managed to get quite a bit of work done today

but my stats class told me correlation isn't causation so this probably means nothing

Ha, one of the dudes has a tanning bed in his house, and he spends about half an hour to get his hair ready every day.
