but a stereotypical new yorker is angry on a regular basis
and i should add that the stereotype is largely unwarranted-- people are very nice here. they may be rushing around but almost everyone apologizes if they bump into you. strangers are always making conversation on the subway and/or bus. most people are 100% willing to stop and give directions-- even to tourists. i actually find new yorkers way nicer than people seem to think we are.

Very true! The two tour guides for SUNY Downstate should be called Lightning and Flash the way they zipped through their hospital leaving a trail of us interviewees trying to catch up! They spoke so fast too, it was like "blah blah blah....any more question? ok, let's go" then it's on to the next location semi-jogging.

Also, the ppl are definitely pretty nice re: asking directions, some dude explained all sorts of lines to get in and out of chinatown for me in exchange for some chinese lessons for picking up chinese girls :laugh:

I feel ya. But I'm set on 2016 now. It's still crazy that in a year from now we will be writing our P.S's and figuring out where to apply.

Apparently people are angry at him for sleeping with women other than his wife as well.

I'm angry with Tiger because his Gatorade got pulled off the market. It was the best Gatorade by far.
 
I like the Lemon Lime Strawberry Gatorade. And melon. Frozen Gatorade is the best.

Although now I just pre-hydrate with water. No need for added electrolytes unelss I'm running 5+ miles which I doubt I can do right now. Probably might be able to by the end of the summer.

I'm watching the best South Park Episode ever, it's called proper condom use. The girls are brainwashed by their sex-ed teacher that they will get AIDS if the boys don't wear condoms, so the boys just have to start wearing condoms in order to talk to the girls. It's hilarious. Not to mention the whole "milking the dog" part.

Apparently the worst sexually transmitted disease is pregnancy.
