hahaha you're funny. you really like allentown though? i spent a few weeks there for gymnastics camp when i was younger and it kind of seemed like a dying city to me. i hope i'm able to see more of hershey this time around and ge a better impression of it-last time it left me with a meh feeling.

:laugh: I would say its a suburban area with lot more to do than the typical suburb. Its def not a city though

if you are into chain restaurants (ie Applebees) I'm sure Scranton would be apretty good place to live

I mention Chili's because they ALWAYS have the parties in The Office there. "Chili's, it's where business gets done!" :laugh:

But I do love Chili's; their new menu just blows chunks, though 🙁

Idk why, but I just can't stand aecom, I'm always harsh on them in SSD.
 
NHL playoffs this year are awesome. Pittsburgh is beating Ottawa 6-4 right and there's still half the third period left!

Also, every single series was tied 1-1 after 2 games with the road teams winning 5 of 8 game 1s.

I'm not sure. I would think with the financial issues and rankings drop, there will be more this year.

The SSD thread last year had some people getting in between May 15th and May 22nd, and then two more in June. I don't know, I just don't have a good feeling about the whole thing right now

I just wonder how much my 2 letters even mattered, plus I don't even know what I'm going to say on my next one (without just going for completely desperate).

Well my fantasy teams is just awesome, so yeah.

lol, i meant it sucked in the fact that they just took the scholarship and added loans. the scholarship is great, dont get me wrong, but it was merit-based...i still have need after that (at least thats that other schools thought)

Just keep coming up with more reasons you're interested, why you're a fit, how your strengths line up, any updates at ALL. Only reason I'm sayin', is because I've written 5 to Pritzker, spread out, 1 pre-interview.

Yeah man, but Pritzker would be like $100,000 cheaper and no-rank vs. #12.... would be nice.

Also beginning to consider academic medicine... so double :xf: :xf:
 
there's always more you can write! keep attacking from every angle, why you wanna be there, why they want you but just don't know it yet, how you can't live without each other etc.... Desperate? Perhaps, but at some point desperation is your only chance. You've been saving your dignity all these years, it's now time to spend it!

:laugh: lord knows I have, only takes one look at the Pritzker thread to see that I've made literally every other post and have bumped it 5 times in the past week.

EDIT: Just looked, # of posts in Pritzker thread for BBender: 115, next highest #: 49 :laugh:
 
True sign of desperation in a SSD thread is having the most number of posts. Or that means you go to the school.

I don't have quite as much of a lead in the Baylor thread.
