I'm just not a huge zombie movie fan. I mean, I felt like Will Smith did a pretty good job in the movie, but zombies are just kinda lame .

I agree. Very overrated.

I liked I Am Legend, but the zombies were just turrible.

Agreed. I think traveling is easy enough these days that the 2-2-1-1-1 format can work for the finals too. Just not enough home court advantage right now.

Nah, she's not 16 anymore, she has her PhD by now I was looking at the fb profiles of ppl who recently posted in the Miami fb group and came across her. I read her bio and was like "is this girl foreal?" I also discovered that a disproportionate number of our classmates like Battlestar Galactica, and I'm overjoyed 😀 tho I don't think I'll be friending all of them like that dude from yesterday

That tower records (RIP) was amazing. it literally had every CD you could think of. the sales were pretty bad and they shut down after the filming of I Am Legend. Now its a seasonal toys-r-us (open only for christmas). i loved that block, if you walked down south a little bit, you had all those custom hat shops that would graffiti words/names on a hat. **** was really corny, but i kinda liked them

Oh yea, it's awesome! Most ppl don't give it a shot cause it's sci-fi, but it really just uses the sci-fi setting to pose the question of what it means to be human. It's also not very newcomer friendly since the plot lines are very deep, complex, and they run through the whole show, so it's difficult to just jump in and start watching.

It's my fav show by far! 😀

i think lakers built/developed to beat a boston team. most people concentrate hard to fixing mistakes, and i think they really concentrated on being better (esp against the celtics) after that humiliating loss against them 2 years ago.

next season, lakers are gonna have all their pieces for sure (+ most likely improve, i guess?). with FA, most teams will be moving things around. if they address their PG issues, the thunder should never be a problem for that team. really up to the Mavs (and maybe the suns and the nuggets, but they are def going through transition) to contend with LA. Don't see lebron making Chicago a title team

I think the Celtics are just getting old, particularly Garnett, so they don't need to be as good as they were two years ago(they're obviously better tho with Bynum, Artest, etc.) to win. I also don't see Lebron leaving the Cavs. For a guy of his caliber, he needs to worry about his own legacy, and it just ain't the same if he jumps ship to join others.

Patently false. Lakers are definitely the favorites, but they're so dependent on 4.5 players (Kobe/Gasol/Odom/Artest/Limping Bynum), that when one of them has an off night, Boston will be able to steal some games. I think Lakers in 6 at this rate.

Hope not. If LeBron or Wade team up, or one of them joins with Bosh, they're instantly legit contenders. Also, Kobe has come back to form in the last 3 series, but he is starting to decline.

Thunder are probably the Lakers' most legit challengers in the West for the next few seasons, and Durant is arguably better than Kobe already. But I'll grant that outside of them, there's not really anyone to challenge the Lakers in the West unless Portland is a lot better than I think, Nash convinces Dirk to join him in Phoenix, or Duncan/Ginobili have more in the tank than I fear.

Shaq in his prime was a beast. But the fact that he was only at that level from ~1999-2002 makes it hard to evaluate his career next to Kobe and Duncan, who were great for longer periods of time.

I will say this about Kobe: it's hard to reconcile his 35, 45, and 42 win seasons (and yes, I'm blatantly stealing this from Simmons' column). Just look at what D-Wade did this year--he took a team with essentially NOBODY on it to a 5 seed; Kobe couldn't take a team with Odom and Caron Butler to the playoffs? Put 2005 Duncan on that team, and I guarantee they're at least in the playoffs, if not the second round. Kobe won his titles next to Shaq as a sidekick, and next to Pau Gasol, the best PF alive today; Duncan won a title with a retiring Robinson, rookie Ginobili, and a 2nd year Parker who had to be benched in the 4th quarter for Speedy Claxton.

Just saying, it's an argument. But if Kobe makes it to 6... I think even I have to give it up.

But 35 wins? And the effing Memphis Grizzlies made the playoffs that year with a starting five of Lorenzen Wright/Pau/Battier/Mike Miller/Jason Williams. And Pau missed 26 games that year.

Is Kobe better than Duncan for their career? Maybe. If he makes it to 6 titles? Definitely. But you can't totally ignore that Kobe absolutely didn't live up to his potential from 2005 until the Pau trade blunder; and without the Pau blunder, Duncan probably has 5 titles to Kobe's 3 and it's no contest in the other direction. But I agree that Duncan's career is closing; I really think Duncan retires at the end of this contract, so if there's a lockout, next year would be his last season.

Max contracts belong to LeBron, Wade, Bosh, and Dirk; Dirk is definitely worth one, but might talk himself into taking less to win a title. But Amare's going to get one too, and I wouldn't be surprised if Donald Sterling talked himself into Joe Johnson. Just sounds like the kind of ******* think Sterling would do, like give max money to Baron Davis. Basically there are more teams with max money than players that deserve it, but GMs are going to feel the need to spend their money to justify their job.

I'm not sure I understand the question? Which free agent is the biggest risk? Probably DWade; I could totally see his career trajectory similar to Manu where he starts going into decline early because of his style of play.

I found an apartment and I got it. I think I just gave up and was tired of waiting around. Whatever - I'm pretty happy now. This will end up working out for the best. Plus, there would be so many things that would suck if I had to pack up and move to Houston right now. I would probably have to live by myself and I really like my situation right now.

In fact, in the last five hours alone, there have posting for at least 4 nice-looking couches, several entertainment centers, a couple of beds, and at least one working microwave...and that's just Craigslist in one town.
