I'm trying. There's just not many people around to respond to. I was totally counting on this thread for me to reach 10k before school started, too. Maybe we'll all be on more as we stop doing stuff toward the end of the summer and get more anxious as school is about to start.

Looks like 2015 is hoppin tonight. There was some talk on there earlier about surpassing us. I don't like it one bit at all... 😏
 
If 2015 continued posting at its current rate (which I calculated from the date of its inception to now) it would need almost exactly 4 years to pass us if we stopped posting now. :meanie:

I just got back from a trip and then a mini trip. I'm not quite sure what to do with myself now that I'm at home. I guess I can read for fun. Or sleep the day away for fun.
 
I am breakfast food so bad right now it's absolutely ridiculous.
 
Since you all want to know, I want bacon, scrambled eggs (with salt and pepper), homefries with ketchup, a biscuit with gravy on top, possibly blueberry pancakes, orange juice, and coffee to finish up.

I've used OneNote in the past, its nice. I'm interested to see how the tablet PC works out with my handwriting... all the students up there that I've talked to have been happy with it.

I've been great, I'm finishing up my scribe job this month and moving to burlington in a month!

I need to go on any trip. The only trip I have scheduled right now is with my friends to Chicago. I need some kind of trip with my gf, though.

You don't have to do anything long-distance or fancy. And you can always find great deals to places that would otherwise be expensive. My friend might go to Las Vegas later this summer and she invited me to go. I am so tempted but I just got back from my official graduation trip so we'll see...

A lot of people do a research project (which is what I'm doing now), but there should still be time for real vacationing. I'm going end up with 3-4 weeks completely off with no obligations.

Pre-reading M2 stuff is discouraged by the elder med students of SDN, I'm sure some people do do it though (I recommend just relaxing 🙂).

Thanks, good to know. Just to clarify, when I said planning, I meant planning for an awesome trip, not planning to study. 😀

That sounds kind of like what I would like to do.

Is there usually some flexibility in when the project starts or do all of them start really soon after school ends?

They set our start and end dates here (0 flexibility) because we have a research day where everyone presents their project at the end of July.
