Daddy's girl learned fast
All those things in anatomy?

Oh what the heck...now it's playing more Bon Jovi? I started this "station" with friggin' Joe Walsh! How did it come up with Wanted Dead or Alive?

And it comes back with Bob Seger - Her Strut (Live), which redeems it, I guess.

Nothin' much. Just playing around with this new-fangled Pandora internet radio doodad.
haha newfangled?
my fav station is my Mika station....loooooove it!

The euro is really cheap right now... it was nice in May when I went, but it's even better now. Makes the trip so much more affordable! Have fun! 👍

heyy i have been wanting to ask you about all the exchange and everything did you use your atm/credit card or changed it before you went?

im refinancing all my loans and paying minimal payments until i die. the american dream.

i cant wait to defer my loans in med school, right now im paying interest about twice the principal each month 😡

pretty much around the western side and on a tour which doesnt give me much time in each country but at least it covers pretty much all of the places i wanted to see! just gotta do spain and greece later to complete the list 😉

Perfect! I've always wanted to go to those two countries! 😉

No it's just cash from my aunt. 😀

That's hot, but you don't win. Dry heat.

$4500 in cash!? That's a pretty big piggy bank you have to have then.

I whipped out my blackberry for this application cycle.... I'm going to be a fiend on this thing, I bet it's going to amp up my stress levels 100000% but I need the instant emails, haha.

Anyone ever tried to work a "3rd shift" and a normal, different job at the same time? Think it will be doable? I don't sleep much anyway....
I have a friend who is a scrub tech at the hospital (most of her shift are at night) and she is taking 20 hours of classes. My friends and I were concerned but she seems to be managing.

I've worked multiple jobs at once + school, but they were both part time. It worked out alright, kind of tiring.

um. embryology makes me want to cry.
Yes embryology is teh suck.

Hmm, my family/girlfriend will probably worry about me/wonder if I dropped off the face of the earth....

but money is money! Thanks for the anecdote!

I have an 8 a.m. class over the summer, + a 9-5 research fellowship and I've done a couple 7 pm to 7 am EMS shifts here and there. It throws you off and you're eyes are really tired, but once I got home @ 5 p.m. I passed out till the next morning and I was good again.

oo what she say?
that using catholic imagery for entertainment's sake is cheap......i am not really sure why the heck she is talking though...not like she hasn't got a video where she runs around and rides a bike while in a wedding dress

Yo Met, I'm not sure how good of a price this is, but:

I saw a really good price on a 32" recently, but it was some unknown brand. Also, I still don't support your decision to buy a huge, expensive TV 😛. Just for the record, the $575 you could save by not buying this TV, when factored in as part of a 6.8% loan accumulating, but not compounding, interest for four years...assuming you could somehow start with regular payments during residency, will cost you well over $3000. Think about it...

Edit: Um, I need to retract my math. It would still be expensive, though 😳

Actually my roommate bought a new TV the other day, so I don't need one anymore.

meh its just money. Id rather take out extra loans and be happy then live off top ramen and shop at the salvation army or something😛. Ive come to terms with my massive debt load and how with our pay likely going to nosedive, ill just be a poor doctor who makes as much as a local retail manager

I agree with the bolded. I'm definitely glad that LSU will save me money.

um. embryology makes me want to cry.

That's probably how I'll feel in a couple of months. I'm looking forward to anatomy and histology, but not that.

Embryology is part of anatomy here, so it's within that class. So it was like 2 months of development in an hour.

This is definitely a whole new ballgame. I feel like I've been in classes for a month and it's day two.

Break time after 11 hours... Heading back to study later.

yayy travel buddy :highfive:

lets find a project to do there 🙂

I'd go to just about any country. That's how much I like to travel.

😱 I can't imagine being in your shoes. I am nowhere near ready to go back to school.

This makes me not want to start med school... :scared:
