if i hear techno for an entire night one more time...

Stix is an ultra-lounge, I believe they play hip-hop at least some of the nights. Another place to check out may be Daedalus. There's a place that's in Copley that definitely plays hip hop, I can't remember the name of it now though. I'm not as up on the Boston club scene anymore since I don't live there anymore.

I never really did the club scene very much. The only one I went to a few times was tequila rain. I did like it there, though.
 
I feel like death. Also, my parents are coming to visit today-Sunday. I'm excited but anxious at the same time. I've hung out with at least one of my classmates every day since I got here. I don't think I'll be able to today or tomorrow. But alas, all good things must come to an end. I'm not sure I'll know how to act around them anymore haha. I've just gotten so used to the city and my new peoples. But I guess it's not much different than when I moved away for college. Except that I've never not seen my parents for this long. Should be a good time though.

We're going to get BBQ tonight, then fancy dinner tomorrow, then Wicked on Friday, then they are taking me and my new "bestie" (funny term but it's what she refers to me as) to a Cardinals game on Saturday, then fireworks on Sunday.

Sound like a pretty fun weekend, although that is a lot of time to spend with your parents after not seeing them for a while.

Tell me about it. I don't spend that much time with them at home. They'll even be staying at the house I'm living at right now. Should be an interesting weekend. They'll be all asking about my friends and such. It'll be weird, since they don't know anyone at all. At least in college I started out with my high school friends and then gradually met more. Trying to explain them or even having some people meet my parents will be weird.

heh I just gave up introducing my parents to my friends / talking about my friends. Whenever they bump into one I just update them 😀

it's ok - you'll get used to it and it'll feel normal soon! You'll have a blast! Backup plan: take your parents to a bar and get drunk

Umm so I was supposed to take care of sending my credit report and proof of health insurance a looooong time ago. I have yet to do that.

i think its fair that he gives half since he cheated, but its $750 million dollars (like nearly his net worth) to just keep her quiet (And he had a prenup). i'm sorry but i'm hiring a hit for that kinda money
