Yeah, something is going around here. I thought it was food poisoning but it seems like everyone I know within a first or second degree has gotten it this past week here in the city.

I don't like them but I think they're really pretty🙂 I love that they can be any color; it makes them the perfect decorative food. They look really good in a buffet.

The good news is, if you bring us food, we'll forgive you for anything😉 I think this group likes cupcakes best.

no i ordered pizza hut but they are currently 2 minutes late and i am ex taremely disappointed.

Whatever!!! Pizza Hut was started by Dan and Frank Carney in Kansas!!! That's not very Eye-talian🙂
 
yeah but they claim to be a hut, which is all-ethnicity-encompassing. if they were "pizza tuscany" or something you might have a point
 
None of these pizza chains you guys like are that Italian, so no use pointing out one over the other 😉

You implied that "papa" was exclusive to Italians. Presumably this was both a combination of the word and the product, pizza. However, a lot of languages use the word "Papa" and it has nothing to do with something inherently Italian. Only half of Italians say papa anyway....all of the ones I know say "babbo".

So, I thought that because the pizza implied the Italian-ness, that all pizza owners needed to be Italian. Hence my argument.

But their burgers are quite tasty, I must concur. Now, I only get it to go b/c the scent of their cleaner still haunts me.:scared:

Haha. I wish there were "stories."
Nope, just a really creepy Michael Scott-ish manager, backbreaking, monotonous labor, having to smile while my hair was pinned tortuously into my scalp and shoved into a tiny hat to make me look homely, having to smile and be polite to incredible rude customers. Being forced to work 5.9 hrs and take only one tiny 10 min break (if they work you for 6 hrs, u deserve 30 mins...so they would make us ALMOST work a 6 hr shift...)...and the list goes on.

Wow...this all makes for a very passionate secondary work-experience essay.
Maybe I should save it. lol

Oh man I knew it!!! I knew they were Wal-mart-esque!!!🙂

I was at a comedy show and the comedian was one who's whole thing is just talking to people in the audience and being funny (though rarely mean, which is good...I hate mean comedians). And he asked if anyone had a really great job that they felt fufilled by. This girl raised her hand and he asked where she worked. She said In-N-Out. And he was like, that's a great job? And she she was like, yeah, I love it!

He spent the next 15 mins ragging on her...and she would just cheerfully reply. It was like she was a Stepford wife. It was hilarious.

I'm headed to watch a UFC live event, and on the way I'm going to stop and get a delicious IN-N-Out burger. When I do, I will be sure to say a heart felt thank you and put a couple dollars in the tip jar. I don't care if they think I'm weird, because I am grateful for all that they do to provide me with that delicious burger 🙂.

if i got to choose a coast i got to chose the east.

i ended up getting some serious grilled chicken enchiladas and the works at a local mexican place. delicious.

i busted out my trumpet and i have been teaching myself how to play again. mary had a little lamb is already in the bag. maybe i won't part with him, and i'll just save for a camera.

I think the difference between east and west is that the east HATES us...and we are relatively indifferent to them.

I like living both places for different reasons.

Yet they seem think we all suck and that we are stupid.


Yet they still apply to UC schools...hmmm....

I still love ya' despite your east coast bias, but it is hilarious that you brought up mexican food, b/c west coast has the best enchiladas, tacos, burritos, etc north of the border.

haha, we drive hybrids 😀. I just went to the Getty museum, which is free AND awesome, plus it is in Malibu. So the art point... not so much weight.

Plus you guys walk everywhere b/c everything is stacked on top each other. No room.
