Droid X 🙂. The part I'm most excited isn't necessarily exclusive to the X, but having streaming internet radio everywhere (most importantly, in the car) makes me ecstatic. I love my music and now it's like having unlimited new good music forever. 😀

Cool! I have no idea what the differences are between the X and the 2, but I know that the 2 is the latest and therefore I must have it haha

Droids are awesome! Mine has has issues (the one I'm being sent is the third I've had in 5 months) but everyone else I know who has it hasn't had problems.

I want to change my profile pic cuz it's been a long time. It's a big decision though 😛
 
Now I feel so out of the game with silly Sprint and my Windows Mobile smartphone! It doesn't do anythign coool or fancy haha...

just does twitter, facebook, interwebs, and pandora...none of the fancy android stuff 🙁

On a random note, I don't know why I continue to watch MTV shows. I know how horrible they are, yet I can't stop watching. Guilty pleasure, I guess.

The Droid 2 looks pretty cool (although it doesn't look that much different from the first one), too bad I don't have Verizon anymore. 🙁

I never beat ff7 all the way. Got stuck at the part where you're supposed to cross dress and got fed up. Didn't help that I played the game like 4 years too late.

Also, just bought new headphones for my droid (since I lost my ipod and thus my old ipod headphones). Mmmm basssssss. I wish I had the $$ for audiophile stuff but these'll do just fine.

haha i went a few years w/o mtv and then have watched jersey shore 1st season and now watching real world, kinda sad

i was on a similar hiatus, but i've been catching this season or real world for whatever reason. most likely out of boredom.
 
I don't watch TV during the week, but it's for the worst reason... my remote is lost somewhere in my room and I can't find it, and the manual channel changer on the set is broken. I have a nice TV in my living room, but that's just too much trouble to go through.
 
you guys are too young too remember when the real world was good. like lindsey and janet. montana and elka. the group from miami that had the business planner named landon. or pablo and puck. and when road rules was a camper full of kids traveling to awesome, exotic places doing kick ass things. a la kaleigh climbing on the plane mid air.

now its just drinking, drama, and sex. I watch some stuff. of course the jersey shore. true life. and I'll catch the challenges when the run all the episodes for like days straight.

Same here. I stopped watching MTV before I went to college. Now that I am at home and my sisters record some of the shows, I have reverted back to my old ways. 🙄

landon was a BOSS. i think i was around 15 when that season aired but still loved that man. not to turn this into sententious BS but mtv is way too politically correct now w/ real world casts.. yet im still somehow hooked on this objectively average season

mtv is depressing! Every single person of the thousands who are displayed on that channel each day is so completely ignorant and such a waste of potential that I can't bear to watch it. It's too painful and hope-for-the-world-eviscerating.

Lucky. I need some new headphones. I have no idea where my iPod headphones are (considering I have had my iPod for 4 years now could have added to that problem), and the ones I have now are craptastic. 🙁 Have any of you guys owned the Bose headphones? After I saw the price, I never looked at them again. lol. I wonder how good they really are...

I like how they gave up on making the Real World cast get "jobs." Only a few seasons ago, they had to do some fun jobs like being tour guides in Cancun... now MTV has realized that the kids they pick because they're belligerent imbeciles suck too bad to keep the job they pay companies to give them. 🙄
 
I'm taking a popular lit class (because apparently nothing in my background proves that I have the ability to read and write, according to a certain east coast school) and we are reading Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone!!! Hahahaha.

In other news, I have returned to a state of overwhelming frustration about the seemingly random order that certain non-screening schools send out secondaries which results in everyone receiving their secondary weeks before me even though I was verified June 2nd. JUNE 2ND. 😡 Apparently, I should have slacked off and submitted AMCAS late if I wanted to be in the first batch of secondaries/interviews.
 
Yeah, I feel like SDN sucks any writing skills out of me. I re-read some posts and I'm like "Whoa, lock me up and throw away the key, syntax police!"

On that note, I really should re-read and edit my secondary apps. Ohhhhh well.

Pre write your next secondary and forget about frustration.
"Please tell us of the obstacles you have overcome since submitting your AMCAS application"

I was told on SDN by a very cruel cougar that I looked like a T-Rex. This induced such a state of body dysmorphic disorder that I sunk into a deep depression and began binging and purging. After developing a severe ulcer and significant dental problems, my friends and family intervened and I realized the error of my ways. I went through a rehab program and was so inspired by my journey that I have opened a chain of eating disorder rehab facilities across the country. I lead group meetings at all of them simultaneously through google video chat. I am a credit to the nation. I cannot wait to use these skills of empathy, determination, and dedication when I become a physician. Also, your awesome school will help me do that. The End.
 
Trying to write some secondaries today. I am now sitting on like 6 of 'em... a little discouraged b/c of the rejections--don't wanna waste money applying to schools that are gonna be like "naw FU".. I hate wasting money.

Exactly. Especially after BU. I feel that if I had thrown the $110 into the wind, at least I would have had the entertainment of watching it waft about and fly away. 🙁

Plus...as I sit on certain ones past the "2 week mark", I'm like...hmmm, is it even worth it to finish them?
 
This probably sounsd bizarre but not havign secondaries are a whole month of constnatly having secondaries to write (and nothing to really do this summer) makes me almost want to have MORE secondaries come....even though there's only 3 left.

OHSU, Tufts, and Drexel FTW--hurry up and send me some love!
 
I had this brief moment of freedom where I didn't have any waiting for me at all. Then, of course, the next day I got another one.

But overall it's been a pretty awesome week so I can't complain.
 
I am done unless I get screened into UC secondaries. I even pre-wrote OHSU just in case.

My dream school started giving interviews today. I am le triste🙁
