I agree with you rhino. If duckie were a boy, I think we would be married by now😉

I think I am done packing.


So....tonight was interesting. There is this guy who I distantly work with who I've known for like 4 and a half years. He is separated from his wife and moved in with another guy a-la-Full House style.

Anyway, so guy #2 is cute (well they're both cute, but you know) and so guy #2 texts me today and invites me over saying they're just hanging. And they were; he was hanging with his cousin, guy #3, who I have never met before..


So we hang out, watch a movie, and all make/have dinner (me and guys 1, 2, and 3), and I am my usual charming self. I am of course completely uninterested in guys 1 and 3. So after I leave, guy #2 starts texting me insinuating that guy #3 wants me.

::sigh:: Why is it never the right one?

And yes, I realize this story has no purpose. Except to show that I am not ready to go to sleep yet. And that guy #2 is dumb.

A LOT of guys around here like princesses. I really don't know why. Most of them don't admit they like princesses. But that is ALL they date. It's yuck.
 
its probably because of the proximity to disney land.
 
Rhino, i went to Macys too, and found a really nice suit. i think i'm going to get that one actually, just gotta check one more local suit place that i love shopping at

1. You are not a princess and that's a damn good thing, at least in my playbook.

2. Let's rephrase: They like princesses because that's all they date.
2.a. They may also like princesses because it's easier to buy sex/love with money than with personality and character.

haven't heard truer words....although that is only true as far as dating is involved not really beyond...unless you're really dealing with a ******ed girl

This whole exchange made me :laugh:. I've loved Zoe Saldana since Center Stage (best character, hands down). She's also in the first POTC movie, she's Urura in Star Trek from last year, and she was the voice/performance capture for Neytiri in Avatar.

I haven't seen Law Abiding Citizen yet, but I lurve me some Gerard Butler. Taken was the shiz, and I haven't seen Righteous Kill, but I have also heard it was seriously disappointing, especially considering Pacino and Deniro were the stars. We all expected something awesome. 🙁
 
just did some blood pressures at a community event. i was kind of disappointed to see 137 as the highest haha. when i volunteered at an ER people's blood pressures would be crazy high, like, 180 or 220.

I just got home and found an interview invite from one of my top choices in my spam folder! Super happy right now. I can't believe it was in my spam or that they sent out invites on a holiday... but who cares! I got an interview 🙂.

I didn't know that any school had classes on labor day. My summer school classes just ended a few days ago, so I'm actually starting my summer right now. Which is weird b/c everyone else is back in school. I don't go back until the end of the month.
 
Completely unrelated to the current posts in the thread, but I have to say one thing...never converse with your ex unless you have the intention of getting back together...as much as you say you want to be friends only or that you won't get back together, the friends thing goes out the window after you see them.

Don't be like me and research another school before the day of interview. I definitely dropped "I believe Pitt is #1 in cards research." when I was actually thinking of a different school 🙄

Banana cookies?? I haven't made any but I've seen a few recipes. My concern would be that usually banana in baked goods is mashed, so it would make the cookies really soft/delicate. But banana pairs well with chocolate so banana chocolate chip cookies would probably be delicious (or banana-peanut butter cookies) but you'd have to find a recipe or reduce liquid in it elsewhere. I'm intrigued though.

I've been trying to find more recipes for bananas because I always end up with a lot of ripe ones. Last week I made banana cupcakes with peanut butter frosting 🙂 It's also fun to make bananas flambe and light them on fire!

edit: sorry to hear about the interview, Cougs. The next one you'll hit out of the park.
