just curious what you guys think about this:

so i'm pretty sure one of my interviews is on the first day of interviews for normal applicants (non-edp), but i found out another interviewee got his interview invite a solid 4 weeks before i did. isn't that a bit strange?

Don't worry about it, Cougs got all of her interview invites earlier than everyone else. I'm pretty sure the schools e-mailed her in June and said "You're the shiz! Come on in for an interview."

Also, Jersey and Geeks were AWESOME. Though I feel bad for Jersey because she had to listen to Geeks and I on our soapboxes about OBGYN🙂.

I scored a lemon jawbreaker at the hospital volunteer office today and realized I hadn't had hard candy in a few years. Being a grownup sucks. I'm gonna go to the candy store at the mall after work

Dude that is the best idea I've heard in a while.

I can't do that cuz I went to claim jumper last night... got motherloaded. (only ate 1/4 of it and split it with my buddies).

Claim jumper is a western-themed, west-coast-chain of kinda-expensive restaurants (entrees $9-$40); lots of people go to them for special occasions. I just had a gift card I still hadn't used so I went with my buddies and subsidized our meal. The motherload cake is their famous dessert and is super tasty chocolatey goodness. (and it's huge)

I emailed a school about a pretty important update (i thought and got a response like:

"We don't really care what you have to say. So unless you are granted an interview, keep it to yourself"...lol, that was a good slap in the face

Thanks, not sure if I like it better black or navy/hyperlink color lol.

I remember when I was a kid living in San Diego and I thought it was soooo cold when it got down to 55 and I had to take school photos outside without a sweater lol. I guess it's all just what you're used to 🙂

I actually like it the navy, it matches the layout/colors of the forum too
 
I lived in Houston from ages 2-5, then moved to the Bay Area. My sister and I thought CA was freezing, which cracked my parents up.

P.S. I like the blue too, if I get a vote. Do I get a vote? Let's just pretend I get a vote.
 
i experience cold when i go snowboarding, but that's only for a few days, NOT a lifestyle loll

word. my hoody is go-to for all temps down to 10. past 30 i wear gloves & a bean though

hahah ok I'm not THAT bad, lol. Good when the snow is fresh in the AM, then becomes pretty rough as people take it all down the mountain with them. I guess it's easier if it's actually snowing when you're going to keep fresh snow on the mountain

I used to go in just my jock but I got funny looks. When your bare flesh is riding over icy snow you've GOT to step your game up. Falling is not an option.

I am finally HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Traveling cross-country is icky. I feel like every part of my body is germy....and I am not even a germaphobe.

The good news is....yoga really works😀 My body hasn't been sore at all from sleeping in weird places. The worst part is just that my hands and feet swell on planes, and I get really dehydrated; blech.

I love sharing food. In fact, I can't be friends with people who don't share food. Geeks and Jersey were so cool...why can't cool people live near me! Except for Asyouwereatrio who is always busy😛

The MadLibs were AWESOME. I like that people use my name so much😀

I snowboard and ice skate in a tank top. And I was very confused why everyone in Philly was wearing such warm jackets when it was only like 55 degrees. Wearing a jacket made me too hot most of the time.

I don't like leaving my house when it is over 67 degrees outside, but I LOVE leaving it when it is cold outside. No wonder I want to leave CA.

Flow; I love the new avatar, and you have another vote for the blue.

I think that is all for now. All I want to do is eat a bunch of vegetables and do some cardio. Airport food makes me feel icky.
 
weather was AMAZING today though. wow. i dunno about you cougs, but i could stay in this weather foreverrr
