I know what you mean! I was just talking to a guy in one of my classes who is slacking on filling out his secondaries and even after I urged him to hurry up, he acted like it was no big deal because the deadlines for the schools he wanted weren't until Jan/Feb... Not at all worried about the whole rolling admissions thing. Haha.

I am completely and utterly useless right now.

And I'm terrified of my e-mail. New messages showing up on my phone make me wince, because Jeff e-mails waitlists and rejections but calls for acceptances.

Hang in there, GC! And bleargh! I hope you come out of today with some good news. And be glad that today could allow you to relax knowing you're in somewhere. I would kill for that, figuratively.
 
Wait?? How could aamc have changed the date to the 18th? Where did people read/see this?
 
Supposedly two schools (UC Davis and Virginia Tech, I think) notified applicants of this. That said, UMich sent out their acceptance video at midnight.

I REALLY hope Jefferson didn't decide to push back until Monday. I will cry.
 
Before the change in notification guidelines, if I was accepted to my school, I would have known today. No news=rejection/waitlist. So now I'm going to be wondering if the reason I haven't heard anything is because I'm rejected or because the dates changed. Nervous wreck time. I think I might call them if I don't hear back from them by like 4 their time.

Same, though Jeff supposedly emails for rejections and waitlists. Every new email that shows up on my phone makes me cringe.
 
This is awesome guys, good job, and a good motivational boost for me as well when I apply even though a lot of you guys are a lot smarter than I am. Anyways keep it up!

I am bummed I have to wait until monday for a decision, and kinda confused why I have to wait. But at least I know for sure that is when a decision will come my way.

Just being really bored. Finished midterms yesterday and flew home. Weird not having something that I really need to do for a whole weekend. I could study anatomy, but I don't want to.

Haha, I love it! Idk how things are at other schools, but I'm pleasantly surprised by how much free time I have. It's really nice to be able to hang out and form friendships with my classmates instead of having to study the whole time.
 
Hey GC, I made the pumpkin cupcakes this morning! They're soo good! I made a half recipe of the Martha Stewart ones but accidentally put in the full amount of pumpkin, which turned out totally fine and they are like velvety smooth (and made like 20 cc). So if you really like pumpkin, I'd recommend it.
 
Someone got an acceptance call from Jeff 10 minutes ago. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!

I don't want to go to lunch! I get no reception on my phone in the cafeteria. And I have to go to the bathroom. Dammit.

I second your groans. SUNY Upstate thread has a bunch of people whose application status changed to "Decision Made", including someone who interviewed the same day as me. But not me. Mine still says "Congratulations on your interview".... They said that the admissions office is going to inform people on Monday. Time for a weekend of nervousness.

Welp, no mail for me today. Preeetty disappointed. And, I tried to call and they said they couldn't tell me over the phone - I have to wait for the letter. Unbelievable.

In an odd twist of fate I was placed on call today. So I am actually waiting by the phone to hear if someone is dead/dying.
 
I'm starting to wonder if my interviewer actually made it to an adcom meeting yet. I mean, he had three chances. *Sigh*
