I wish I could be basking in the California sunshine rather than staring at it through a lab window. I guess it still beats the ridiculously cold weather in other parts of the country though :meanie:

Dante was one of those readings my school would assign for the summer but not mandatory. *sigh* One of these days I'll get around to reading him...along with the rest of my books on my bookshelf.

I read the inferno, but I didn't think it was that great. It would have been more interesting to Donte's contemporaries b/c they would have recognized hells occupants. We read Machiavelli's the Prince around the same time, and IMO it was much better.

Sorry Shanks 🙁 If it makes you feel any better, today is also s***on Julie day... I have to get up at 4:15 for work at 5, and this morning my alarm decided it didn't want to go off. (It wasn't even that I didn't set it or anything; I checked online later and found out that a bunch of people with my same phone have had the alarm just randomly stop working.) Anyway, by some miracle I happened to naturally wake up at 4:44, exactly 1 minute before I needed to leave. I spent the first 30 seconds I was awake staring at my clock wondering what the eff was going on... I somehow managed to throw on clothes, get my stuff together, and be out the door by 4:50. Whew.

Lol, I remember talk about interesting sex stories but I don't remember anything about a goat 😕. Hopefully the goat wasn't part of the sex conversation 😱.
