Just received my orientation week schedule. Mon/Tuesday/Thursday is 7:30am-8pm. Wed is 7:30-5. I think they want to start us off with >12 hour days to prepare us 😉 Also, our white coat ceremony is 2+ hours too, Geek.
 
I'm glad I'm playing Cliff and Sun on WWF... apparently they both have as much time to kill as I do and play their turns really quickly. Torr is too busy writing "Cliff + Torr 4ever" and drawing hearts in her notebooks to stay current on the game. And apparently she's also too busy to join us all in the Facebook group.

I keep meaning to challenge Daisy to a WWF game as it sounds like she's a worthy opponent but I keep forgetting. Even now as I type this, I'll forget soon after I hit "submit."

I find it humorous that the abbreviation for Words With Friends is the same as the wrestling organization. I just imagined Maubs challenging Daisy to an all-out wrestling match. 😀

In other news, bf's birthday is coming up, so I'm cooking a special dinner tomorrow night. I'm baking a whole chicken (something I've never done before, so hopefully it works out), making some random assorted sides, and I just made a delish-looking coconut cake. Omnomnom.

We had a particularly elaborate dinner tonight, even posted pics on FB.

Also, I hate having a Palm because it doesn't have words with friends. 🙁

I can't figure out how to load facebook photos into the forums, but please see my profile for the bacon cheeseburger with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns my gf cooked for me last night... Not trying to one up your delicious cake julie, but 2(!!!!) grilled cheese sandwiches... My life became Man vs. Food for a night. 😍
 
your gf made that? i thought you got that somewhere. she's a keeper.

speaking of which, i'm not in the shape i was prior to my trip and i'm having a hard time getting back into the swing of eating well and being active... all i want to do is eattt. you've got me craving a grilled cheese currently.
 
I've been getting fat too. It's the boredom.

Although, I also feel that I will get fat in med school, because reading is BORING! Reading by itself is just not enough stimulation for me. I always feel like I need to eat while I read in order to have my brain feel content. That's probably not going to work very well in med school...
 
I wish rafflecopter and MCAT guy would come back to this thread 🙁

And I wish Cougs would stop by long enough to post something other than :hello:

boredom is a likely cause, good point. i'm back to none of my friends being around. in school i'll most likely be in great shape because i function really well in a routine.

The work-out-everyday-in-the-summer-plan has resulted in 18 pounds lost. I'm paying the price for being lazy as balls this past year.

I just hope I still have time to work out during the year. 🙁
 
Just watched Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

It was entertaining once I got used to the idea of a movie-video game hybrid. But I'm pretty sure everyone who watches it comes away thinking that Black Sheep by Metric was the best part 😛
