ooo..I love glasses...I kinda go through new glasses once a year lol. I've worn glasses for the past like 10 years, and in those 10 years, I've accumulated about 8 frames--all 8 of which look very similar to each other. Only now do I finally wear glasses that are significantly different from the rest--I've shifted to plastic frames. *gasp* You must show us your new glasses, especially if they be totes cute. 🙂

I've always wanted glasses. I know it's ridiculous, but when I was little I actually tried to flunk an eye exam because I thought I'd look so cool with glasses. Still have 20/20 vision, but I'm sure sooner or later my eyesight will go down the drain.

I really really really like these frames, can't decide which color I like more. Unfortunately, I probably won't find them when I go glasses shopping and I don't know how I feel about buying glasses online:

They are a little out of my price range (my insurance covers $130 with a $10 copay), but would be worth it IMO.

I just read it - nothing to write home about.

I love all the glasses, especially the ones you were looking at, Daisy! I also used to really want glasses - I thought they looked stylish and were an easy way to show your personality. Much easier than clothes, to me. That's probably because clothes can become such a black hole for money when you really like them.

I stayed away from the Greek scene at my school. The only houses I ventured near were those that were the equivalent of Revenge of the Nerds (aka the houses my friends got into.) Besides, my dorm had enough housecest that it was completely unnecessary.

I had club sports team mixers, but some of my friends were in frats and my cousin was like the center of the sorority universe at my school so I met plenty of Greek kids. Eh, had its ups and downs, but I was always attracted to the artsy or indie types - though I date and dated much more mainstream girls. Eh, I guess so long as people have some sort of interest or passion/goal in life.

I have nothing to say in that thread though, because I think people are being hypocritical or closeminded, and while I think the OP is a dimwit, the rest of the posters are being far to self-righteous. People experience love and sex in many different ways, and its all dependent on where you are in your life or personal disposition. For some people that's hook-ups, "dating" (though what ever does that mean in today's world anymore??), committed relationships, polyamory...etc... Can't say any are inherently "bad", wrong, or less developed/more evolved (though that's not the right word I'm looking for).
