Lol, I seriously think he's just abusing/taking advantage of you. Some premeds reallly don't know how to respect others...(no offense to any of you). People just try to milk it til it's all gone.

Lol..I'm very sorry you had to go through that. I just volunteered my email out to the next generation of premeds at my undergrad today. I'm sure I'll get bombarded with questions that would otherwise be posted here on SDN--OR I'll get the "copy/paste" version of the question they asked here! lol. I'm nice, generous, and bored like that.

He sent me a handful of PMs back in September, now I've had 8 in the last 2.5 weeks. They're all things like asking me for study tips (I told him a few times to post about it so he could get a range of ideas... he doesn't) or opinions about his progress and what he should focus on like I'm a freaking psychic that can assess him better than he can. WTF? My crystal ball needs to be polished, so hold on while I brew up some tea leaves.

Btw, I know that I am pages past...but I'd love to either 1) get PM'd by those who'd like to talk to me via g-chat/aim/facebook...or 2) start a list/"directory"..that only we can see. Oh wait, there's a facebook group for that. Duh!

Should I go start one...because I'm in a social mood right now? haha. That boy put me in a goood mood this evening...(IT IS TOTALLY NOT WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE!)

This is totally random, but every episode of Modern Family I watch makes me fall more in love with it. Such a great show. 🙂

But what I WAS talking about: I delivered a pre-med "how to get into medical school" presentation today at my undergrad and after the presentation I spent 45 minutes fielding questions to crazy neurotic kids and one of them caught my eye. After the 45 minutes passed, I noticed him sitting in the back (alone in a 400 person lecture hall), so I went over to ask what he was still doing there...) Anyway, we just talked for another hour about everything under the sky--the app process, our majors, etc. We just clicked...the only problem is I don't know if he's gay..he kinda seems like it...really on the fence type. Idk..lol. He asked for my email so he could continue asking me pre-meddy questions (I offered this to the entire class), but I just gave him my FB so he could see it.

Story of my life.

I LOVE Modern Family! I got the First Season for Christmas and have watched it all the way through twice already.

Haha...I swear it's because 1) I'm done with school and have nothing to do, 2) want to give back to the class that helped prepare me somewhat for this process... 🙂 I think even the counselor was like "omg you are so nice!" (as if people like me don't exist). I even offered my email to the people in the class to email me as they please lol. I going to run into Geekchick's problem pretty soon...*sigh* lol.

The last part sounds like why I'm going into medicine in the first place!

OMG, I do too.

I used to watch "Whose Wedding Is it Anyway?" when we were wedding planning, and a lot of "A Baby Story" and "Bringing Home Baby" when I was pregnant with Chicklet. Now I watch a lot of HGTV. Hubster asked me what I'm going to watch once we have a house. I told him the Death channel, because clearly I'll have nothing else to do. 😛

But really, I'll still watch HGTV, and Food Network, because I love to cook but NEEEEEEED a bigger/nicer kitchen than this 70 sq. ft. thing in our apartment.

You can still watch HGTV and move onto home renovation! There is always more, ALWAYS! I want a house terribly, but to buy a house in the city means we need to get stupid wealthy and that is not happening anytime soon :laugh:

house tinkering is both fun and maddening.. it also makes sure you develop an awesome toolset and keep home depot very profitable

I love Annie's Eats! I don't understand how she finds time to do be a resident, have a kid, and maintain an amazing cooking blog but she's so awesome!
