Thanks for the kind words for my bf, guys! He'll be fine, they were going to go laparoscopic. Now I just have to figure out what kinds of treats to bring him.

In other news, I am a walking disaster in lab today. Things keep randomly falling off high shelves onto me. Also, a tube of dark blue loading dye splattered all over my face, and my PI and post-doc made me pose for pictures before I washed it off.

I am so sick of people ragging on CCs, too. I would like to think I'm well educated. And I will still say, to this day, that CC is the place where I have actually LEARNED the most. I don't think I have ever said this before....but....haters gonna hate.


So, I discovered that near my new work, there is a Souplantation. This made me so so happy. Until I discovered that there was a See's Candies right across the street.

We all know what lunch choice I'm going to make 🙁

They all ask the same thing 50 different ways. Bottom line: if they shut up and excel wherever they are, then they will be fine. I did cc work too, Cougs 👍.

The CC thread should be stickied with the "MD vs. DO" and "URM" threads.

Also, Geeks, regarding your stalker, it could be worse... I have one who asks me to calculate his/her grades based on the curve. WTF? I'm not in their class, how should I know! 🙄

Oh, and Cougs, I was in OC the other day, and I ate at this place called the Veggie Grill. Wow, it was super good. The Bali Bliss with cheese and a side of sweet potato fries is delicious. I am guessing you've probably tried this place... if not, you should 🙂.

I go there all the time, it is SO good. The sauce they have with the sweet potato fries is ridiculous. I would try the Grillin' Chick'n next time if you can.

Also.....sad that you came here and didn't say hi🙁 Did you go to the UCI one or the Spectrum one?

That sauce is awesome! I loved it. My gf got the grillin' chick'n kale style, and I like it too 👍.

We stopped at the spectrum on our way to the long beach airport to catch our flight to Vegas. I am planning several trips to irvine to check out the campus and area before school starts. Hopefully, we can meet up during one of them 🙂. My gf and I have also been talking about going back to check out the Irvine Improve, which I just found out is in the Spectrum. I'm enjoying my time post-graduation, but I'm also stoked about starting at UCI in August. I love the area, and can't wait to see more of it.

That makes sense, seeing as how the shift supposedly occurred post-2009. I think it's the sign your born under that is supposed to affect your personality. Some planetary alignment mumbo jumbo. So your traits are stamped in when you're born. Because planets.

i can take this to pound town...

i washed a jacket that i had in my car for about the past year, and my mom took my laundry out of the dryer... well when i went to get the laundry to fold it there was a rain jacket that you only wear in pound town laying on the floor. of course i had forgetten/had no idea that was a possibility. i don't know if she noticed or not. whoops.

My mom once visited my apartment and noticed the EMPTY economy-sized box of, erm, pound town rain jackets in my garbage can. What can I say....the bf and I really enjoy playing in the rain in pound town.

my dates are all year, just because you dont match up with the days of "exceptional activity" shouldn't get you down 😉
