I can't speak for other 2015ers, but MCAT studying is making everything move soooooooo slow. Waiting for the mcat, waiting for our scores, waiting for amcas approval, waiting for interviews. How did you 2014ers stay sane with all this waiting!?

you dont really stay sane😛. lol seriously though its not too bad. For me i took the march mcat so from march - dec were the worst. Once you get your 1st acceptance you really stop caring so much too. I had to wait till dec for my 1st one which made me a little more crazy.

I'm great! About to start classes, so just hanging out on campus with no work to do. I'm mostly putting together a list of schools and working on my PS, along with checking out the secondary essays (I'm studying abroad this summer, so I'm trying to get this stuff done early.

I had to wait until Janaury this month, which made me crazier.

Looking back, it seemed to move so quickly - especially once secondaries started pouring in. My waiting was more prolonged since I took the MCAT early.

It did seem pretty unbearable waiting for AMCAS to open in May, then waiting for submission in June (since I finished it in a day).

The most annoying thing for me was worrying about making sure all of my **** was straight and confirming that I didn't forget anything.
 
Yea, since pushing my MCAT back, I'm waiting for that and have to continue studying (would have been nice to have it done already at the end of the month, but at this rate, I'd have to probably retake anyway). I'm most worried about not having everything ready to go. I could have my PS done, waiting for mcat, got LOR, etc... and still feel like I'm missing a whole bunch of stuff
 
Hey have u guys started shadowing yet? i havent had anyyyy time and i think im going to just wait until after my late april MCAT to start...
 
I'm hoping to shadow each Friday that I can (just an empty day)

Yeah you all are right, it's just the way it is I guess. but I have a feeling that the aamc gets satisfaction in torturing us in this twisted way. 😀

yah if you can not be on sdn you will have a happier app season. Otherwise you will be like omg omg omg everyone getting interviews but me. Then its how come this guy who was complete after I am is getting interview, then how come this guy got a decision, then omg everyone on sdn has 10 acceptances while i have 0 and 1 interview...!@#!@#!@#@!#!. Repeated over several months😛.
 
SDN was both a blessing and a curse during the application cycle. Definitely a love hate relationship.
 
Yea, I knew absolutely nothing about applications and stuff before I joined. Talk about eye opening.
 
The more I see people getting accepted for 2014 it makes me want to fast forward to this time next year... and I haven't even taken the MCAT yet (March 27th). I have a feeling this year is going to be tough.

Haha TRUE story. The added anxiety started when I signed up for the MCAT and now that I'm in the thick of things studying for it I just want it to be over with, my PS to be done, and my application to be turned in.

We'll stick it out together!

That's the plan. I'm feeling pretty good at this point, except for physics. Hopefully NOVA will help alleviate those worries. I think I might actually start taking practice tests this week, but I can't decide since I'm only a little more than halfway through the content review.

Wow...they started it a year ago? Haha

Anyway, I'm back with mcat studying, anyone know what book I should get to help with physics, I just really suck at it and I'm torn between buying EK 1001 physics and TBR physics. I know this isn't the mcat board, but no one ever talks on 4/10 😡 and I know some of you here have taken it before.
