My workouts have suffered a lot too, I've only been able to get to the gym twice a week. At this point I'm just going to try to maintain that, and next week I'm going to workout like a freak on Friday and then get a massage to get all the nerves out.

After the MCAT you'll get back on track. Don't worry. I would suggest getting in a couple workouts before the test though.

if she's your girl who is "one of the guys" why are you so upset? it sounds like you have a great friendship and this is no reason for you to throw that away. just don't get involved with her beyond friends.
 
no im not dating her shes dating another friend of mine. i think ill eventually get over it..its her life, but i wont look at her the same thats for sure. and now i just feel bad for the guy dating her..
but ya we can drop it, i dont want to depress any1! nice day out over here wut about u guys???

i have a ticket to pay too from first year kirby. i hope theres no interest piling up on that ****

when you said you hate people that cheat, the first thing that i thought of was cheating on tests...

thats like an epidemic nowadays i guess among premeds. hey, my gpa may be only very average, but at least i can know it was earned honestly, unlike certain people i know who have cheated their way to As.
 
ya we had a few days of clouds too, its okay after all the ****ty days soon you will be rewarded. oh the life of a pre-med

i dont know how ppl get away with it..its like impossible in my classes. profs and ta;s everywhere. and if u get caught thats it, gg. so not worth it.

Its kinda weird actually if you look at that photo...there's a lot of fat guys and skinny guys. Nobody is like athletic or muscly or anything.

Even if I were (completely) gay, I would want probably have higher standards. 😱
 
Peeked in School Specific thread. Harvard + Penn decisions came out today. I am starting to get stoked/anxious about this process. 😀

Back from my cruise! It was...mediocre 🙁

Now I'm sad, I have soooo much to do, feel like I haven't done enough, and my boyfriend of 6 years is leaving Sunday off to boot camp (Marines) and I feel like my best friend is dissapearing 🙁

We met in our freshman year in high school and we've been inseperatable (spelling is bad haha) and he is my best friend. I know he'll be gone for only 3 monthes, but we've never been apart that long. And it sucks that he'll only be back for 10 days, then off another 6 monthes to a year for more training. He told me when he comes back for the 10 days that he would propose to me, I hope so 😳

haha yea, he's going in as military police, he wants to go to sniper school (the boy who grew up wanting to be G.I. Joe haha!)

Well, I'm prepping for my conference next week and I really should be studying for my micro exam and mcat (didn't study AT ALL over my cruise, baaaad idea...to a degree)

sniper school zoMG thats amazing... u kno i wanted to be a jet pilot after i watched top gun when i was like 14. he could come with me and snipe ppl while i fly. we would make a killer combo...👍

2 letters done, 2 more agreed to, and I'm about to shadow a DO trauma surgeon for one more. I have something down for my PS. I've had a handful of people read it and I only had one hater of it, but I'm definitely gonna make some changes.
 
I redrafted my PS but haven't had a chance to finish it (changed topics, it's a tiny bit common but it meant something to me, and was more personal than my first topic), I am meeting a professor soon for one LOR, trying to meet another but I keep emailing her and she hasn't responded at all :scared:, and I plan to ask my mentor after my conference is done next week. I will probably ask my Honors director this week or next, and get my personal reference LOR (for UCF) asked and done soon (She was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force 👍). Still haven't had a chance to shadow any more doctors, I may just have to roll with the medical examiner if I don't have time/can't find any more.

i just realized how effed I am if I have to retake this mcat (as far as class schedules/exams are concerned) so that's a non-option. I'm flying with whatever i get on the 27th.

i like to throw my dice on the table. these next 2 weeks define my career, that's a scary proposition
