Regarding the residency issue, I really have no advice. I would ask brooklynblunder (2014 member). He generally has a lot of great, on the down low, inside info regarding stuff like that. I'd go with CO, but thats just me and my bias for CO. I love the school.

Honestly, you have a great app and I think you will be fine no matter what state you accept residency in. I dont see a lot less SDNers from NV for what its worth. Might make you stand out a little more.....or might not make any difference at all. MAKE THE THREAD. just dooo it.

Wyoming always seemed like a cool place to me. Hit up Cheyenne, drive down to Denver when you need to get your big city fix, drive back up north and chill in a nice small city. I didn't realize how much I like ****/******, ** until I came and visited Denver. 'Tis huge like a lot of other places. It's cool, but I kinda like the small city, not much traffic, know where everything is, sort of vibe.

I'd probably end up in federal prison (seeing how the hospital is federal) and then I'd have to start one of those threads.....I went to the pen, what are my chances? :laugh:

i think i missed a whole section on my mcat in the BS, like no joke i keep thinking i missed an entire free response section, and now all i can think about is a ****ty score and being part of 2016 🙁

I'm sure you did great and are just freakin out over nothing. I should have listened to my practice scores and pushed my test back. I would always do well in two sections and bomb one, leaving my score low. I kept thinking "Oh, it's just a fluke, etc etc", nope, not a fluke.

Haha, I think it's a little early for that countdown.

On a side note: I had a great day in lab today, it's such a nice feeling to be able to make graphs with your data and to have your PI put a caption under them and hear them say that we should be getting a paper out of my work.

On a second side note: I have no game what-so-ever. A 3 year relationship has left me feeling like the 40 year old virgin. Wow. I'm in a situation where I'm good friends with a girl and I feel like we click pretty well and we should probably date. I just can't get this girl to go on a date with me. For some reason there's no sexual tension, or maybe she just doesn't like ice cream? Ice cream always works though. I think I'll switch it to, "hey wanna go grab frozen yogurt later?" That way I'll know if she isn't into me, or if she's lactose intolerant.

I was wondering the same thing, I also thought there was something wrong with her boob until I noticed that the bikini top is smaller and doesn't cover much.

My bf just got medically discharged from marine boot camp until it heals, but he'll be home for our 6 year anniversary (sp?), anyone have any ideas on fun things to do (besides the obvious)?
 
r u looking for romantic or just fun hanging out stuff?

I enjoyed the characters in Kick Ass, not to mention a phenomenal score by John Murphy.

That's true I guess. I feel like at one point in my life I had the ability to knock myself out of the friend-zone. Maybe this is just a different situation though.

Haha the only overheads I hear at the hospital are, Dr. Stuart call for you on line 1, Dr. Stuart call for you on line 1.

But sure, you can page whatever you want. Hopefully I'm in EM so that means I don't have to actually answer when you page the overhead. I feel like ER doctors run on a time that is like always 45 minutes late, maybe just the ER I volunteer at though.

Paging Dr. Hoody, Dr. Oakland needs an MSU hoodie stat. Dr. Hoody to Dr. Oakland's office immediately.

Hmm...I've never been in a hot air balloon before, but they don't have them in this area, especially during hurricane season. I'm alright about sushi, but he hates seafood hahaha! Maybe we can go jet skiing around some islands (had to through some florida in there haha)

Florida has tons of stuff to do. Disney and Universal are probably played out, but maybe just a trip to Cape Canaveral or something if you haven't been there. There's wayy too much stuff to do in Florida though for you not to be able to find anything lol.
 
jetski is good and fun! cook him something (at least a snack or a dessert?) i love it anytime a woman can cook me a good meal, and if not, at least an amazing dessert

maybe get a couples massage? and then hire a catering company to cook for just the two of you?
or go sky diving?
