haha, lots of them. All the time. At SDN, if med school hasn't been your dream since you were in the womb (your very first shadowing experience, of course), you must be a terrible person.

It's not that I'm going to med school for the money. At least, not to be rich. But by nature of not being wealthy, I have to have a job. I chose a job I think I'd love because I want to be happy. But if I were independently wealthy, and I mean loaded, I would do the things I really love to do. Like play piano, read, and write.

Some days I'd love to write books as a job, not a side venture. I think I'm good at writing, but not enough to feed myself. Hence - med school.

That was hilarious... sometimes you gotta put a smack down on an amcas. They be like "tell me where you been" and I tell 'em "I been around dawg"... then they be like "what where you doing" and I tell 'em "I been getting my pre-med on." Damn, then they be askin' me "How many hours you been out there doin' that".... and I be like "too many hours homie, now stop askin' me!!"

My guy found a really cool neurosurg internship that I am going to apply for. Would be awesome. Im pretty set on either neurosurg or Pulmonolgy/Crit Care.

I actually have no clue how he found it. he sent a link to it in a simply email that read "I only suggest as I know you are interested in neurosurg."

short and sweet. lol. I see him friday, I will make sure to ask.


Im worried about my age as a factor in landing a neurosurg res. all the guys are gonna think im too old!!!
 
I'm torn. I want a boy, personally, but I'd also love for Chicklet to have a sister close to her in age. I asked her the other day and she said, "sister" but she was mostly just repeating what I asked. Still, was adorable. Her daycare teachers are always gushing to me about how good she is, especially with the younger babies in her class. So since I can't decide what I want more, I don't want to find out this next time.

so tonight I have to work at midnight till zero eight hundred. then I have to make the trek to school, calc test at ten fourty five. apparently my dog that lives in said schools town might have a broken leg, so I'll have to take him to the vet. then I have to trek back...and work at twenty hundred till zero eight hundred on friday.
