i fell asleep at the wheel freshmen year of college and totaled my care 🙁. you just need to yell to the music or stop and take a walk
 
I have all of my secondaries caught up, but I do have a paper due on Tuesday. My question: Should I go see Inception and then write my paper or write my paper and then go see Inception? Tough decision.

I'm the same way....driving long distances always makes me sleepy. As it is, I commute 45-50 minutes to take classes in another town at the university. some days after I work a night shift, i fight sleep the whole way there just to pass out in class. 🙄

Thats what I decided. I'm going to go see it at 2:50. I should be pretty far into my source review by then. I can write the paper in a couple of hours later tonight.

This is a large factor of why I don't learn well in lecture. Why drag my quite literally tired ass to school if I'm just going to fall asleep in class? If I'm engaged -> PBL -> then I don't fall asleep tho.

E, I would have driven with you so you weren't alone! I know you don't know me or anything. But I am super on vacation right now and love a road trip.

Aww you should have told me I would have been down🙂. My tire should be fixed by 130 or so they said. So with 8 hr drive barring anymore crazyness I should be at sac by 10pm or so.
 
just booked my bus to NYC for tuesday, gonna stay there for a week with my friend. never been there before so im really excited !

and then its back to toronto
and just today me and my brother were talking about how fun it would be to do some kind of expedition and we actually ended up booking a trip for aug 14-29 to peru! white water rafting, 3 day hike up the inca trail to machu picchu, and a whole bunch of other **** im super excited about!!
get back on aug 29th just in time for schoolio
so PUMPED😀😀
 
a sexy voice...meh. i think most girls voices are sexy as long as they arent too deep, too raspy, or too high pitched.

i don't even know what my dream school is. the highest ranked? or closest to home? i guess i won't know until i go for interviews.

Now, every time I type, i picture MB picturing me saying it in a munchkin voice and I can't help but giggle.

So I keep reading about submitting secondaries within 2 weeks of receiving them. Is that a rule or something? None of my secondaries have 2 week deadlines, it's been about 3 weeks since I received some of my secondaries and I haven't gotten my AMCAS approved yet so I didn't bother with filling them out yet. Am I doing it wrong?

I have heard that a lot of schools determine your interest by comparing how long it sent you to send it in with the average/mean time it takes for applicants to send it in.

Also, the longer you wait the more you have to work on at once. So for the sake of appearing interested and for the sake of your own sanity, I would recommend turning them around as soon as you can.

😱 WHAT?! What if I was on vacation or something? A mental vacation! Man I guess with all these qualified applicants they have to come with up lots of methods to eliminate people. You have no idea how devastated I am right now. I'm submitting them all by tomorrow night, time to start writing. Thanks for the info.

Don't be devastated! Don't worry about something you can't change now. Just submit as soon as you can, and write letters of interest/intent later if it seems like they're on the fence about you🙂 It will be ok. A lot of secondaries haven't even come out yet. It is true that you won't be complete there until your AMCAS is verified, but still, get the secondary in if you can.
