😱 Welll...I would not be feeding a 12-month old hot dogs unless it was cut into tiny pieces or mashed into hot dog sauce...in which case it wouldn't be a hot dog anymore

That is true. Hot dogs are nasty anyway. Who would feed a 1-year-old a hot dog!

🙁🙁 Gonna go cry in my closet now

Good. You can come out when you're ready 😉

Feeding a 12-month old. I chose the "refrain from feeding a 12-month-old hot dogs" as the best choice answer. I was WRONG. 😡

I'm still mad about this, and it's been almost a decade. Haha!

Considering what is in hot dogs....you definitely choose the best answer.

 Not a good idea...need to feed children healthy food because we all know they wont be eating healthy once they get older

Heck yeah. I chose on the basis of 1) nutrition and 2) choking hazard.

Yay!!!!!

I wonder who it was lowering our star count? 2018, 2019??????

all of them are, they're all against us because we are the cool class lol... though 2015 is pretty cool too. Alot of them give such great advice

You should go back to your professor and give him a piece of your mind. Take a 1 year old and a hot dog with you for backup :meanie:

My husband called my old nursing profs "trolls." Hee hee. They are retired and probably so old that they are dying.

Is it that bad? What do you have to do?

It is bad. It's the games that the psych hospitals play so that they don't have to take patients. The insurance companies also don't want to pay for the patients to stay/be transferred to another facility.

I usually arrange the transfer which means calling the insurance company to receive authorization, call different psych units in the state to see if they have open beds, fax all the patient's clinical information, do a psych assessment, keep everyone updated, and arrange an ambulance for transfer. It doesn't sound like much, but it can take the entire day just for one transfer. 🙁

Geez, that sounds like a pain in the butt. No wonder you hate it. Those jerks😡 If I do become a doctor, I'll probably get so pissed off at insurance companies...

The doctors don't like the insurance companies very much. 🙁

It sounds like a lot to me...:boom:

Understandable...Yeah, sure, an insurance company is a business that's in it for the money, but would it hurt to be a little more humane?

Unless you are on a vent, you are not sick enough to stay in the hospital. 🙁

When I did my EMT ride along I had to transfer a psych patient once....He asked for a comb so he could comb his hair and hit on the girl driving behind the ambulance. It was hilarious.

Probably. Everyone gets what they deserve eventually, especially those pesky other classes! :meanie:

You know...sometimes I hope the worst for a professor when they're a douche, but once something happens to them I can't help but feel guilty...

That would hurt!

Don't feel guilty. What goes around comes around. :meanie:
